[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, it's when my teenagers are blaring their "generic" little speakers in their bedrooms. I am not always a fan of some of their music selections. So, I just play my own personal orchestra over the the sound system as loud as I want to in our living room. Depending on my stress levels and how much I feel like implementing to my offspring to "attempt showing interest" in what other people enjoy, also. This, uh..., ya know..., helps them to be less self centered and more open-minded to the world around them.
It brings me so much peace (you have no idea). Thank you so much!

The Q990D looks premium and feels well-built, with a sleek matte finish and minimalist aesthetic. Setup was refreshingly simple—wireless connections to the rear speakers and subwoofer worked seamlessly out of the box. Samsung’s SpaceFit Sound Pro also did a great job calibrating the audio to my room without fuss.

This is where the Q990D shines. With an 11.1.4 channel setup, it fills the room with sound from all directions. Dolby Atmos content is incredibly immersive—helicopters and rain literally sound like they're above you. Dialogue remains clear, even in noisy action scenes, and the subwoofer packs deep, punchy bass without overwhelming the mids or highs. Watching movies like Dune or Top Gun: Maverick felt like a theater experience.
