Amazing Sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It would disconnect a lot when I first got it and then finally after a few months it magically started working again and hasn’t given me any problems since. I’m assuming it was an update that fixed it but still not entirely sure. That being said, the sound has been incredible for both movies and gaming!

Absolute best soundbar combo product!

Booming bass, clear center channel, convincing overhead effects (for a soundbar), solid rear outputs, lots of customization available in the app. It does disconnect from the app frequently which requires it to be "re-added" but not a deal-breaker. No drop-outs of satellites that I've noticed.

Sometimes art doesn’t start up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound system sounds very very good. It’s very nice. I enjoy it. However, sometimes when I turn on my TV with the arc, it does not come on and I have to manually turn it on.

In all configurations (Optical, Bluetooth, ARC, and Wi-Fi) when the TV is turned ON, the Soundbar will turn ON. If your soundbar is not turning on, it could be due to another reason. For example, if the Soundbar was used to connect to another device (say a smart phone), then it will remember the last device (smart phone) and wait for a command from that device (the smartphone) and ignore the TV ON command.

Amazing Soundbar – Totally Worth It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with the Samsung HW-Q990D. The 11.1.4 setup creates a fully immersive Atmos experience — you can clearly hear sounds from above, behind, and all around. Dialogue is crisp, the subwoofer adds great depth without overpowering the room, and the rear speakers make a huge difference.
HDMI 2.1 passthrough works perfectly with my TV and gaming console. Build quality is excellent, and Samsung’s SpaceFit Sound tuning really improved my room acoustics.
Overall, this soundbar system delivers theater-level performance in a simple, wireless setup. Highly recommended!

My first soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the first Samsung Q990D and it’s insane! The surround sound is super immersive, bass hits hard, and everything feels like a real home theater. Setup was easy, no lag, no issues.
Honestly one of the best soundbars I’ve tried . Totally worth it!
