Ok sound, other problems

The remote is not very good, there is a mute button above the volume button and the volume button also mutes when pushed down that is a pain in the a.. why is there 2 mute options right next to each other and 1 gets pushed when trying to adjust the volume?!? There are also many features unavailable on the remote and can only be accessed through the app! Product is ok, remote is garbage and Samsung sucks!

Beautiful sound, when working correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The system itself is very nice looking. It looks premium for sure. Also, when it's working correctly, the sound is amazing. You get full cinema sound. But then....it can change on its own, and suddenly all the sound stays loud, but the voices in the audio almost completely vanish. And figuring out how to fix it is near impossible - it's fumbling around trying to find the right setting. It might have to do with the TV it's connected to (mine is the QN90D). But it's extremely frustrating to sit down to watch something and suddenly all you hear is the background music but absolutely no voices. I didn't even know something could separate out audio like that. There isn't much of a guide included with the system, so it's just blindly playing around with settings on this and on the tv until, suddenly, it just starts working. It has something to do with the Symphony mode I think - but I don't know. So while I really love the sound that comes from this system, this little quirk is extremely obnoxious, especially when you just want to sit down and watch something but then have to spend 15 minutes poking through settings to fix it. In the end I just turned off the Symphony thing and just run it normal, but then the audio isn't as amazing. So yeah, I want to really love this, but I just really come off more irritated by it than enjoying it. Oh, but rear speakers connect easily without much problems, so....small plus.

First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

Great sound if you don’t expect too much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this through reading and watching endless reddit and youtube reviews.
It’s definitely a fantastic system, especially for the price. They always have insane deals going on so it’s a no-brainer.
I did, however, expect theater quality atmos based on the aforementioned reviews but was a bit disappointed from there being no overhead sound. Maybe I don’t have it tuned right.
Listening to music leaves more to be desired as well, but the system isn’t for that, it’s built for movies and they sound amazing paired with the sub and rear speakers.
All things considered, it’s for sure a must buy for the price it sells for.
