This monitor was on the wish list.
Leading into Black Friday, there was a mad scramble when it went on sale. Apparently, many others know it's a great monitor. It sold out locally, but there was one at a distant store. After purchase, the monitor did not disappoint. It just brought so much fun.
Just bought this monitor today. Literally 2 hours ago. Upon setting it up I noticed a bright pixel or known as a bright pixel. This is a design flaw that according to ISO standards is somehow normal. For 463 I expected better quality. Not sure if I will return this yet or just live with it. Moral of the story, not happy.
I have always gamed on a tv and after making the switch to this monitor it’s safe to say I’m never going back. It’s a night and day difference and everything looks and feels amazing.
I use this for work and online competitive gaming.
Not much to say here, it delivered what I expected based on the specs. 1440p, G-Sync, and high refresh rate. It says it support 165hz, but you probably need to do some more advanced setup, because in Nvidia panel it only shows the 144hz option, but since this is good enough for me I don't mind.
The only issue for me is that, I'm using this as a monitor for my laptop, and I use only the second screen (leaving the laptop screen off), but when locking the user on Windows, and leaving the computer for some minutes, once I get back and type some letter or move the mouse the turn up the computer again, the display on the monitor doesn't display nothing, I need to change to Windows to display in the laptop or disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable so the monitor is recognized and display something, which is kinda annoying but I don't know if this is something only on my unit of it's some compatibility issue in this specific model.
