Looks and feels great...sound is not so great.

Was really happy with the look of the custom design. It turned out great. I was not happy with the sound quality of the Flip 6. Anything over 50% volume and the bass begins to sound terrible. I was expecting a little more from the speaker because I have great performance from my other JBL speakers. I'm hoping it will break in and begin to sound better. Overall I'm disappointed with the purchase.

Only for pounding party music, not listening

I bought this so I could listen to my music while working in the kitchen. I was extremely disappointed. My daughter has an older model of this line and the sound is clear and accurate. The recent model has sacrificed clarity for the ability to play pounding party music at the expense of fidelity. The sound was muddy and muffled in the exact range where anyone who cares about music would want to hear the fine details and tone of voices and instruments.
