I looked at a lot of reviews, and I thought the S24 Ultra sounded nice. But I have it and I'm thinking I must have a defective unit or something. The camera doesn't take sharp pictures, the touch screen sometimes doesn't register when I tap on it (really annoying!!). I'm a young whitecollar professional, my hands never have issues with touchscreens. The IP68 rating doesn't hold either: I had my phone in my pocket while sitting on the sand at the beach. Just before my friend and I left, one of the waves came much closer to us, and it got a part of my shorts wet for less than 10 seconds. The wave splashed the side of my shorts that had this phone. I quickly took it out of my pocket and it was wet. Ever since then, when I charge my phone with the cable, it doesn't fast charge anymore, only slow charge. And back when the fast charging did work, it was also not as advertised. It's supposed to charge at 45W, but the highest it would go is 20-30W, that I tested in the first week of having it. At the moment (after being splashed with water) it only charges at 12W wired and randomly disconnects. It's been a very disappointing experience, and I miss my old phone. To add salt to the wound, this is supposed to be Samsung's flagship phone. I've only had it for a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the camera, we recommend checking your settings and try using the Scene Optimizer or Pro Mode to fine-tune the sharpness of your photos. We understand how worrisome it can be when the touch function isn’t working properly. However, there are some simple ways to get the touchscreen working again when it’s frozen or unresponsive. Check out the link attached for options to help troubleshoot. Regarding the IP68 rating, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is designed to be resistant to dust and water up to certain levels, prolonged exposure to water can impact its performance, particularly if moisture reaches the charging port. You can try using the moisture-detection feature, which should notify you if the port is still wet. Ensure the port is dry and free of debris before attempting to charge again. Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. Great Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great phone. Love the galaxy Ai. They made a lot of improvements on that even after it came out originally with the S24. The deciding factor for me was the flat screen. Glad we moved away from curved screen.

Top of the line phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my S24 Ultra. It works great as my daily phone. Battery lasts all day with heavy use.
The Camera works awesome and the new Galaxy AI helps with photo editing.
I no longer need to take a separate camera with me when I Travel the S24 can do it all.
I even have done some time lapse night photography with great results.

Smooth operations

From screen resolution to integrating between all my devices, this phone has made my life easier and keeping up to date on work and life. Gaming on this phone has been smooth with little to no disruption. Uniques themes, use of Galaxy AI in camera (translating language in real time), and other features were a bonus.

This phone is like a mini computer

We use the calendar to keep track of not only all our school activities, but my extensive on call work schedule and all other family functions. The camera far exceeds the capability of any other phone I have had in the past and I love the ability to retouch and edit photos without having to download more apps.
I have just begun exploring the capabilities of Galaxy AI and am excited to find out more!

Nice big phone. Sharper corners aren't bothersome until you put on a case from my experience. More screen grain / mura effect than other phones, but it's great regardless
