Great features, bad display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ultra has awesome features like the S Pen. Unfortunately the display is really lacking. Compared to my Flip 4, the screen is very washed out and grainy. Indoor pictures with the camera can also be blurry. Outdoor pictures are great though.

If you have not already done so yet, please update your Galaxy S24 Ultra as soon as possible. Software updates are like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone - they keep things running smoothly. They also help improve the user interface, enhance security, and remove minor bugs. We recommend updating the software whenever a new version is available so you can make sure your device stays in tip-top shape. After updating to the latest software, make sure to turn off Adaptive color tone. You can do this by: • Settings > Display > Adaptive color tone or • Quick panel > Brightness bar > More options > Adaptive color tone. After turning off adaptive color tone, you will be able to adjust the color setting to tune the display to your liking. Also, be sure to turn off Eye Comfort Shield. Your Galaxy S24 comes equipped with with a 12MP Selfie Camera and a triple Rear Camera consisting of a 50MP Wide-angle Camera with 2x optical quality zoom, 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera and 10MP 3x Optical Zoom Camera. You can use portrait mode on 2x and 3x zoom to take dynamic close-ups. Even in low light, take shots with reduced noise thanks to Nightography and the new ProVisual engine enhances detail and color for clear, vibrant high-resolution photos, even at digital zoom distances. Your device utilizes AI throughout many apps and experiences. For instance, the camera uses AI Zoom to take better zoom photos. You can use AI to edit images, like Generative Edit, which can fill in backgrounds and move, resize or erase objects. Live Translate lets you communicate in other languages over the phone. If you would like, you're able to disable or only allow on-device processing for the AI features. There is also a "master switch" to disable all cloud-based processing for the Galaxy AI features (Settings->Advanced Features->Galaxy AI.) Absolutely NOT scratch proof

I bought my S24 Ultra less than 1 week ago. I am always super super careful with my phone so as to not get scratches. I had my last phone my S10+ for 4 years. I did not have a screen protector on as it's supposed to be fairly scratch resistant. However I've been extremely careful with my new S24 Ultra while waiting for my screen protector to arrive and it already has several small scratches!! Extremely irritated and frustrated!! The S24 Ultra is "supposed" to be super scratch resistant and yet I already have micro scratches that absolutely should not be there as I've been so careful with it!! My last S10+ didn't scratch like this in the entire 4 years I had it! So disappointed that the S24 Ultra scratches so incredibly easily! Wishing I still had my S10+ now! This new one is definitely NOT scratch resistant as it claims! I'm tempted to pay to get the screen replaced but I'm not about to spend extra money on something that is supposed to be good quality just to have a new one scratch so stupidly easily again!

Complicated and not compatible with older apps. It seems to control things at a level I don't like. My older phone, I could close apps even delete many. The notifications will drive you nuts on the new one, good luck turning some of them off, it is not offered as an option.
There is a lot running in the background all the time that you have to work hard to find and shut down or else your battery won't last the day.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra's screen is less reflective compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra's, making it more comfortable for you to use, even in direct sunlight! If an app is not compatible with your device, we recommend reaching out to the application developer for additional information. As far as your notifications. Managing your phone's notifications helps you stay focused without unnecessary interruptions. You can tailor notification settings to your preferences, including sound, vibration, and display options. not very intuitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still learning to use this device. I loved my note 8 and would have kept it if it could go 5g. All the hype about the phone being faster, I've not noticed any difference. I'm finding it hard to figure out, Note 8 was easier. The telephoto max 50x, it's all hype, grainy pictures. Night photos are the only improved thing I've noticed. For this much mo ney, I should have been impressed, not disappointed.

It's awesome. 120hz at 1400p. Something my note 20 ultra couldn't do. More higher brightness is awesome because I work outside and it's incredible using the phone at it's maximum brightness without losing too much battery life

I dont find nothing so Amazing about this phone i traded my Motorola Razr plus 2023 and i seen more exciting thing on that phone than this S24 Ultra ,Samsungs trys to control everything on this phone n i dont even understand half of there stuff i dont see anything so great about the camera! And this letting charge my phone to 80% to protect my battery but the battery drains quick dont understand it im not a gamer or do to much on my phone
