So excited for the new phone until I compared the screens between my s23 ultra vs s24ultra. The new phone's screen is such a downgrade. It is dull not vibrant the color look washed out. I cannot believe I paid money to have a new which look uglier. What is the whole point of upgrading? Waste of money i will return it. Will not spend my money on Samsung phone if the clmpany dont fix this issue. Seriously mad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone expected better at this point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phone is fast excellent screen and amazing cameras however I thought after being so advanced samsung would get more things rite for example photo and video quality photos in 12mp tend to be slightly blurry in quick capture very grainy/noisy when zooming in on them also the ai enhance can alot of times ruin ur picture by smudging lighting or sharpening to a point where u can clearly tell its fake and even worse sometimes it smudges up and "overwrites" the sharpness. I can't write at length but I'm sure u know the video dosnt do to good with lighting or shooting with the sun behind u I think the reason the ultra is good is mainly bc of its overcompensated features (ie there are so many pixels so the image carries more detail however if the competition had that many pixels they would be way ahead). Another thing I'd like to bring up is gaming and big tasks drain battery and put more strain/heat then I'd like I'd suggest samsung make their own operating system that would put u ahead by far with far better optimization. There are also small things like the samsung keyword needs alot of work and the ecosystem and smoothness of connectivity as well I really like the ultra and I'm a fan of samsung wich is why I wanna see u make changes like these that will actually help u get ahead of competitors instead of working on new things like the built in ai features wich barely come up for most and can be found by third party's already. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone, mostly. I was excited to receive the phone and it seemed perfect the day I got it, but I noticed that the screen is grainy and that many people have the same problem. I have thought of getting a replacement but there'd be no guarantee that it'd be any different. It's almost bad enough that I've considered returning it many times. I think the grainy display should be addressed and should guarantee a replacement for everyone who received a defective display like me. Otherwise I like the anti reflective display I'd say it's a good step in the next direction. I enjoy the display being able to go darker than my previous phone the s20 plus, I use my phone in the dark a lot so I use the phone at the lowest brightness pretty often. Though when at low brightness the graininess is very obvious, especially using extra dim and the eye comfort shield. I like the battery performance, I don't feel pressured to charge it any moment I can even if I'm watching content or playing games for hours. The s pen is great it's my first time using one, I tend to use it for many basic tasks it's just nice to have on hand. The phone also looks great, it's simple and not super flashy. All in all fix the displays and it'd basically be the perfect phone. Also do something about the typing, keys are being pressed before I even touch the screen.

Almost perfect, texting sucks

This is an awesome phone in ALMOST every aspect. Great camera for pics in multiple settings and video. Calls and video are crystal clear. It is a comfortable size and works pretty much perfectly with my Samsung watch. The speed of the phone is awesome as is the battery charge time and the battery lasting time.
The only major flaw with this phone is the texting. Especially the voice to text. Finger texting is spotty. It will auto correct words and punctuation that make no sense. It will highlight it's own corrections as to tell you the word or phrase is incorrect even though the phone put it that way.
Voice text actually just sucks. The phone does not recognize easy words like my name for instance. It will end sentences with periods that are not supposed to end at that point. It will capitalize words where they are not to be capitalized. Voice text will put double spaces between words. It will highlight words and phrases that are not correct even though the phone wrote them that way. At the end of a sentence if I say "comma" or "period," it will spell out comma and period or any other punctuation instead of using the actual punctuation mark. There is more to add but this phones texting needs a major overhaul.
I still learning how use Galaxy S24. This phone is the best of future!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great upgrade from the S21 Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never owned the Galaxy Note phones. The S21 Ultra was my first Galaxy phone since the Galaxy S3. I was not happy with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It felt like a step back from my old LG G8 ThinQ. Plus the S-Pen that only worked on the S21 Ultra had very few options to add it to a case. This was my first big win with the S24 Ultra having the pen built in to the phone. I have the 1TB model which is way more than the S21 Ultra's 128GB. The S24 Ultra is smooth and snappy. I love the flat screen dnd sharp corners. It's heavy so I never have to wonder if it's in my pocket. As much as I love the phone, there are down sides. I got the green color wave, and while not as nice a the rich deep green of the S23 Ultra, it is pretty nice. However; that green is only on the back of the case. All the colors share either the black or silver accent. I would at least have loved a matching green S-Pen. At the end of the day, I love the phone, and a long as you aren't moving up from the S23 Ultra, you'll love it too.
