I've been using the Watch6 for about a week or so and am very sad to say it has a very poor pedometer. It counts every single arm movement. It just counted 1500 steps while I was washing dishes and another 1000 or so steps while I'm sitting down filing paper at work ::: crying face ::: I purchased it so I wouldn't have to carry my phone on me all the time to count my steps. If you're looking for a watch to use as a pedometer - keeping looking. Also, I thought my purchase was going to include the white band shown with the gold watch in addition to the fabric band.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the GW6 for my son for his birthday and he loves it. He loves the big display at 44mm and the sports band. I'm sure he will want the GW7. Thanks again for making great products.
Battery life too bad. Not more than 1.5 days. My earlier one usually 3 days.

I love the watch. It's slim and sleek and not bulky. I used to have the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it used to have the bezel which i loved and i thought i would miss that with this watch but the digital bezel works just fine. im still learning about the watch's features slowly but so far love it. better graphics on this. its a huge upgrade from my old watch for sure.
