[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my watch 3 and so far I am really loving it. I am still exploring all the features and getting used to using all the functions though it doesnt seem much different than my watch 3. I love the look of this one vs the watch 3, though the "gold" color is not what i would call gold at all, I thought I had been sent silver by mistake, but the box said gold. Dont expect it to be anything close to an actual gold color, but its still pretty. My one complaint about my watch 3 was that it was so dark. This is much lighter looking making it less masculine looking. The sound quality seems much better than my watch 3 when making calls too. It is crystal clear. Better than speaker phone (which I find super annoying anyways) on my regular phone. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking about an upgrade or even trying one for the first time!

GPS does not track long runs well
on September 7, 2023
Posted by: phaley91
I bought this on the release date. I really like the app options and it works well with my S22 phone. I have decided to return my watch because the GPS performs poorly on long runs. Activity and fitness are my biggest motivation for wanting a wearable. At a one hour run, I believe the watch was off by close to one mile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Phaley91, Thanks for taking the time out of your hectic day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch6. We appreciate your directness as we strive to provide the very best products with superior functionality on the market to our customers while we remain committed to constant innovation. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most incredible experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. Your Samsung smart watch has a GPS sensor that can monitor your real-time location without connecting to a phone. When the watch is connected with a phone, it will obtain its GPS location from the phone to help improve the location accuracy. However, GPS on a Galaxy Watch Active2 may not be accurate or take longer (about 2-3 minutes) than usual to obtain your location if the watch is disconnected from your phone for more than a day. When you have the availability out of your busy day, please check out the article titled, "GPS not working properly on Samsung smart watch" to conduct some troubleshooting steps on your watch to help resolve what you have been experiencing. For your convenience I have linked that article below for your quick and easy access. If you would like any further assistance and/or help troubleshooting your Galaxy devices, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a cherished Samsung customer. - Debra
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Watch6 is my very first smartwatch, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase! When notifications come in, I no longer reach for my phone; I simply respond using the watch's text-to-speech feature. It's amazing how, since I got this watch, I find myself using my phone less each week. Even during gaming sessions, my phone can be across the room, yet I can easily respond to messages with my watch. The battery life is impressive; just 15 minutes on the charger while I shower, and it's good to go. I wear it constantly!
This smartwatch is incredibly user-friendly, making it a perfect choice for first-timers. I've got the 44mm version, which suits me just fine. But what really blew me away is its health tracking capabilities. I never knew technology could monitor my sleep so accurately! Thanks to this watch, my sleep schedule and habits have improved significantly. Its sleep mode, which turns off notifications, signals it's time for bed.
Even when I have no notifications, I enjoy simply scrolling through the watch. Plus, it's perfect for admiring my adorable photo of my cat, like the one I've included here, taken with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (an amazing phone, but this review is all about the watch). I wholeheartedly recommend the Samsung Watch6 LTE. When the Watch hits the market, count me in for an upgrade. Once you experience a Samsung Watch, you won't want to be without one. It's been one of my best purchases, and I'm confident you'll feel the same

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Watch6 for almost all daily activities! I love that I can receive notifications even if my phone dies, or lose connection! The Samsung health app is extremely useful as well! The convenience of having a tiny smart phone on your wrist is amazing!

Incompatible with most phones
on November 30, 2023
Posted by: Disappointed
Apparently there are limited phones that are compatible with this watch. I have a new Samsung phone but it is not compatible. There is nothing on the website which accurately describes what is and is not compatible (the language I see is "compatible with most phones"). Only newer "S" models are compatible according to my help chat rep. Will be returning the watch.

Good day, Thank you for finding the free time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch6. We value your honesty as we improve the design and functionality of our product line while we stay committed to constant innovation. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most amazing experiences when using our products. The Galaxy Wearable app is the core for everything related to your Samsung smart watch. However, this app is only available on your phone, which means you need to connect your watch and phone together. Samsung watches are only compatible with certain Android and iOS phones - make sure your phone is compatible before you try setting up your watch. Since you have stated that you have a Samsung product, a Galaxy phone will have the most compatibility options. Just be sure to download the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store, and make sure your phone has the latest software. The Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic are compatible with Phones with Android 10.0 and RAM 2.0 GB or higher. For your convenience, I have linked an article for your review below titled, "Samsung smart watch and phone compatibility." Feel free to take a look at it if you would like more information on our watch and phone compatibility requirements. Let us know if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. We're here to assist you in every way that we can! Thank you for being an unwavering Samsung customer. - Debra
I've been using the watch for about 5 days and there are many of its features that I like. It's attractive and has exercise tracking and health monitoring. You are able to receive alerts for texts, emails and calls. I have a very small wrist and the fabric band works wonderfully for me. The one aspect that I wish Samsung would work on is battery life. One workout uses almost 30% of the battery and I've turned off GPS tracking, wifi and the always on display. I have another smartwatch that has 14-day battery life and costs approximately 1 1/2 times less and is about as accurate. I find that I'm having to charge this watch twice a day. I hope Samsung can find a way to work on this battery issue. It's just too short.

Hey Zoilo, Thank you for finding the unobstructed time out of your bustling day to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch6. Your feedback is invaluable to us. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most ideal experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. With the Samsung Health app and a supported phone or smart watch, you can measure your stress levels by checking your heart rate and some other factors. To use this feature, your phone or smart watch must have a heart rate sensor. This sensor is not available on all phones, but you can connect a wearable device with a heart rate sensor to measure your stress. This feature may also not be available on iOS devices. Take a look at, "Measure your stress level with Samsung Health" and "Use the Samsung Health Monitor app on your Galaxy watch" if you would like more information on using this feature. Also check out, "Properly wear and clean your Samsung smart watch" to ensure that you are wearing your watch correctly. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you have any questions for us, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra
People who are comparing watch 6 with 5 pro don't understand that the 5 pro was more of an outdoor activity watch like apple watch ultra. Watch 6 and 6 classic is the next version of 5 and 4 classic basically. So if you liked the sturdy build and days of battery life of 5 pro don't get the new ones!
I upgraded from 4 and the extra battery time and quick charging does make a difference for me since I use the sleep tracking function. It's also not as laggy as 4, brighter, and larger in screen size. It's a lot more comfortable but it might just be the different watch band. All in all I'm happy with the upgrade, especially with the trade in.
