I was in need of a high GB flash drive (32GB). This item was on sale. It has worked wonderfully. Multiple saves and deletions have given no problem. I would purchase this item again. It has worked on USB2 and USB3 ports.
This release features all ten episodes from the sixth season of the smash hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones. After the events of season five, new questions arise about the death of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) as Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) continues his training with Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow), and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) continues her quest to rule the Seven Kingdoms. Included in this set are bonus content and behind the scenes footage.
As a GOT fan without internet, I eagerly await the NEW season because that means the last season will be on sale soon. This year disks #2 & 4 had play problems. No flaws were visible on either disk. The story was as good as ever. I hope this was an anomaly because if not it means a lack ofquality control at the manufacturing level. I hope this was a one off problem, however since the problem was common to two disks, it is a point of concern. My DVD/BR purchases are divided and dictated by price and availability. With Amazon, to return an item is by the same method as its delivery (UPS). Exchanges with Best Buy require a return trip to the store of purchase. I would rather buy from Best Buy-knowledgeable staff, good selection of items. But...
It is starting to get a bit crowded in Marvel-Verse. I'm afraid that the next shoe to drop is going to be a mash-up between Marvel and Star Wars. Star Trek has primed all of us for alternate time lines and universes (unversi?), so lets don't make everything mash-potato-plots. We'll see them as separate. The Mouse will still make his money.
One can only hope that the effects and writing teams can keep up their game in upcoming offerings. I've heard some criticizing about the 'villain', but thought he was good for a bad guy. I mean what could worse than one of the good guys going crazy then going bad?
I was somewhat disappointed in that this is a set for another feature. The 3D is good, good SFX, the plot not particularly inspired, decently acted for an us v the space invaders film.
Follows the well written formula of MST3K. Why are you even reading a review of MST3K? If you're a fan, you'll like it. If not, see the first question I asked.
Season 2 of the Disney Channel original animated series Star Wars Rebels continues the fight of Ezra Bridger (voiced by Taylor Gray), Kana Jarrus (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and the rest of their rebel group against the rise of Darth Vader and the dark side. Set just years before the events of the first Star Wars theatrical film, this release features all 22 episodes of the Galactic Empire adventures.
Still a "younger" SW fan faire, this series (under the shepherding of Dave Fiolni) gets better each season. Though not a cable subscriber, I look forward each year when the new seasons of TV/cable shows are available for purchase. My major concern is that LucasFilm is now a member of the Mouse family. Darh George defeated the Sith-like Lords the magic lantern using as his saber their own brand of wizardry. I hope that is not destroyed.
Less theatrical than other offerings from Flint's native son, this film is more informative and grounded than some of his other works. He points the finger of blame for our problems back at us, once again, rather than looking to others to blame. Plus showing that we once HAD the answers. The solutions having been adopted by other nations. Thus, Mr. Moore redefines the meaning of invade and WHY we should "invade" the countries in which he lands
Celebrated astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson hosts Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, a series that explores the creation and evolution of the universe, and explains man's impact on it. This release contains every episode from the program which was an updating of the original Cosmos which made Carl Sagan a household name.
Having seen Carl Sagan's original "Cosmos" some thirty years ago, I looked forward to Dr. Tyson's edition. Not at all a disappointment. An excellent addition to the explanation of the world/universe in which we live.

This may sound dumb, but can I transfer from a VHS playing in this unit to a DVD recording in this unit?
I see nothing in the instruction manual that tells me how to play a VHS tape and record it on to a DVD with this unit alone.
Yes. So long as it is not Copyright protected. Home movies - yes. Comercial VHS tapes - no.

My cable box (Digital Transport Adapter, Comcast) only has coax in/out not RCA, how would I hook this up to it?
I'm not sure that you can with that wiring. Perhps going through the TV or another device and then routing it to the DVD-VCR recorder.

Can this system replace my DVR???
Perhaps. I think it would depend upon the vido source. I think that data is written to the HD of the device before it is sritten to the DVD.
