While I purchased this product mostly for the phone alerts, it can do much more. The packaging said it would work with iOS 7 and higher. This is not accurate. I contacted customer service and they were very responsive and helpful. They were unable to resolve the issue, but we were able to upgrade the phone and the operating system through our service provider. My father is hearing impaired and I bought him this to notify him that his phone was ringing or receiving a text. It works as expected (now).

Which iOS is it compatible with?
The write up says it's compatible with "select iOS and Android devices". Which iOS devices specifically?
iOS 8 and higher. It would not work with iPhone 4. Supposedly will work with iPhone 4s and above.
