This is a very nice TV. I purchased this one versus one of the newer models because of the smaller footprint size of the stand, while sharing some of the features of the new models. One objection I have to TVs in general, and not just this one, is that they come loaded with technical gadgets that a minimalist like myself would never use. I use this TV for 2D viewing and never intended to be a 3D viewer. I have tried it to experience it, and choose to dismiss it. As for the basics, normal 2D viewing is excellent in both sound and picture if one makes the right choices in the setup menus. The picture is vibrant, bright and colorful, with good clarity. For normal viewing in a properly adjusted picture, there is good uniformity in the screen and no clouding or flashlighting. There is some clouding and flashlighting when using the menu screens for 3D or the Hub. These screens go to high contrast and brightness when accessed. The Hub is Samsung's implementation of a Smart TV portal to internet features, loaded with direct links to services like Netflix, Hulu, and such. Direct access to Samsung's own internet store is also available for those seeking other applications or games. Since I use a ROKU device, I rarely access the Hub. Those without ROKU may appreciate the ability to surf the Web and access content providers directly. TV menu options are abundant for the technically inclined, although I choose to disable most features. This TV is a good choice, and scores high with many reviewers that review electronics for a living. One negative - the supplied remote control is terrible. It is actually a track pad that one drags the thumb across to manipulate selections. I purchased an aftermarket "traditional" remote control to use instead. Much easier. There are two gimmicky capabilities that I will never use, voice control and motion control. Reviewers also do not rate these too high.

I bought this because I was looking for an old-fashioned wall mountable phone in which the base held the answering machine. Nothing I found worked, and trying to wall mount them was near impossible. It seems that phones these days are to be placed on a table of sorts, with the phone vertical in the cradle. Some wall mounts created a ledge that the phone sat upon - not what I wanted. This Panasonic comes closest to a true wall mount, although the phone sits in the cradle at a slight angle. Technically, I have no objections to the phone. It performs well, and has many user friendly features, such as large numbers. Better backlighting would be a plus as it is hard to find the "Talk/Off" buttons in the dark. Sound quality is good. The handset size is quite slim, but comfortable. The footprint of the satellite phones is small. Overall, a good purchase.

This is exactly what I thought it would be, one of those slap together fiberboard constructs that isn't real good quality but does the job adequately well. The capacity of the media cabinet is very good for it's overall size, and the color is pleasing. The assembly was simple, but better parts stickers would have avoided an error requiring minor disassembly to correct. Only one missing screw which I substituted from my stock.
