BEAUTIFUL SET WITH ALL CONTENT

Will do my to keep this short. Will start by saying that it ha always been somewhat discouraging reading reviews of 4k tv's as most reviewers do not bother to explain what kind of regular tv signal they receive. We live where there is not enough wifi speed to stream 4k stuff, nor receive much of any ota signal. Our choice is satellite, and we have Direct. Purched the x930e 65 inch from Best Buy about a month ago. My deciding factor was reading reviews of past year sony 4k tv's with respect to how well they improve the picture with their upscaling prowess. Am on the bandwagon with the x930e and it's beautiful picture thanks to the upscaling.
I am also pretty amazed at how well the x930e is able to saturate the screen with it's color yet, still look very realistic. I also purchased sony's new 4k blu-ray player and hdr content is gorgeous. 1080p blu-rays are upscale so well that I won't be doubling them up by purchasing the 4k blu-ray.
We do have enough wifi speed to easily stream Netflix and the rest. Once again with the x930e's upscaling, it takes stuff like Daredevil, Mar Polo, etc, to a point a noticiably beyond 1080p. And again those saturated realistic colors...
To have been able to upgrade from an 9 year old plasma for under four thousand dollars-and that includes the sony 4k blu-ray player X-800, plus stupid Cali taxes, makes me feel pretty good. By the way, the blacks are quite good, and the blooming described by pro reviewers really isn't that bad, and I watch the x930e in a very dark room. I only hope updates appear automatically as I have not figured out the menu to check for updates.
Am now a sony tv fan-this is my second one, not the last. Got the bedroom to think about.

Very quiet and efficient. For right now it does not clean as well as I expected. However, I will be switching to a different HE detergent to see if I can get better results. If this works, I will be totally satisfied.
