In the Sony advertising, it's capabilities were overstated. It doesn't do what Sony says it will do, but the price is cheap, now. See review presentations on Youtube. I can't download the movies to my PC with a cable, but I can take the memory card out and read it that way. And that is OK with me. I am disappointed with the loss of video quality in low light conditions. But the price was right. I would have felt cheated it I had bought it before they lowered the price to $130. Because it is not worth $170.
I would recommend this to a friend!
