Great So Far

This is my first robot vac, been using it for about 3 weeks. We have thick carpet, as well as an area rug, and it has had no problems getting across the edges. As others have mentioned it is noisy, particularly because of our thick carpet, so we run it when that is not a problem. It is much quieter on tile when it doesn’t have to work as hard.

Everything We Need

We bought this unit to use indoors and outside while on vacation. It is light enough to carry, and has a notch for easy portability, which we appreciate. We use it with radio, Pandora, our MP3's, and CD's. The instructions are a bit lacking so we had to call Sony to find out how to use our MP3 players with all the usual features. (will play on USB but you can't choose your songs or play on shuffle). Sony got back to us quickly, told us which cable we would need, and how to hook it up. Now it does everything we need. As far as sound it is better than an average boombox but not as good as a stereo sound system. It would be better if it could play on battery power, you must be where you can plug it in. Still perfect for our needs.
