I have researched this sub for some time before purchasing. I bought a DefTech ProSub 800 before I traded it in for this sub. I do not have to crank it up to get the room filling bass that creates the sonic foundation for my LR entertainment system. Even my wife was impressed. I was looking for a small 8" sub that did not take up much space and filled the budget (the SuperCube was a little pricey). This sub is not much larger and I am very impressed on what this sub can do. Definitely worth giving a shot.

Great Sub...Just not for my application

This DefTech ProSub 800 is a good subwoofer although it did not fit my application. I wanted an 8" sub that would be used in the LR to fill in the bottom end to my ceiling speakers. This is not a HT room and is mostly used for listening to music while entertaining or working around the house. In order to really get the bottom end, I had to turn up the volume and the sub bounced across my wood floor. Don't get me wrong, this sub is really great musically...it just did not give me what I was looking for.

I did not know what to expect with these headphones. I just purchased them (although at a great price)...but maybe that is what they are really worth? I am not sure yet if these headphones are what they are "hyped" up to be. I let my wife use them on our plane ride home and she had a similar response. They did an adequate job shielding the noise of the airplane and the cushions were comfortable.
I own a pair of URBuds that I really enjoy. Especially since I got them for free!
