Ideal for smaller cameras but when it comes to some of the DSLR cameras the controls for this tripod can be hard to access. Also, the last segments of the legs are very thin and could easily be damaged. Not nearly as stable as I needed for my larger camera but as I said, it would be very usable for a smaller camera or point and shoot.
The tripod is very small and easily packed for travel without having to worry too much about the weight of the tripod eating into your limited baggage weight when flying.

This camera is packed with features for both the advanced amateur photographer and the pro alike. Between the newly redesigned auto focus, the built in wifi and NFC this camera blows its competitors out of the water and for a fraction of the price.
If you have used any of the higher end Sony DSLR cameras this one should be pretty easy for you to pick up and use. The controls and menus are very well thought out and easy to navigate. The fact you can customize some of the menus and most of the controls makes it even that much better.
