Get straight to the front lines with Battlefield 1. World War I was the first truly global conflict, and you'll experience life in the trenches, in early urban combat, and in the basic biplanes and tanks of the day. Follow the single-player campaign, or battle up to 64 players on the Battlefield 1 multiplayer servers.
The story mode is made up of five short stories that are not interconnected. It's fun, but nothing really special. Multiplayer is where you really get your money's worth. It's probably the most enjoyable fps multiplayer I've ever played. I wasn't a fan of the previous Battlefield titles (I've always been more of a COD fan), but this game has me doing a 180. I've deserted COD 4 Remastered since I bought BF1, and I don't know if I'll ever go back.
The Deluxe Edition doesn't really give you anything special, and I don't think it's worth an extra $30. I just bought it because it was on sale. Plus, if you want to get the premium pass for all the dlc, you'll have to dish out an extra $50 after you buy the game, so I recommend just buying the standard edition.
Simply put, if you like first-person shooters, this is a must-have.
