750 concepts, one step at a time

3 weeks and my 4th grader and I are almost up to # 80. I had a Heathkit in the 1950s. this is more rugged and the 5 manuals explain small, important things about circuits. Give us a year and we can rate the next 5 to 6 hundred experiments. The snaps are easier than the old springs. I feel we will understand what we are doing when we get to the part about building a radio and a radio transmitter, but , so far I have resisted the temtation of jumping to the end of the books which might ruin the ending. Worth the money, dont need to order more parts and it is alot of quality time with my daughter, who tells me what to do.

it's not smart, but I don't need smart. I'm on antenea and broadcast with google chrome. The sales person said most 60 inch is a 50 streached to a 60 and looses quality around the edge. this is a 50 inch and is clear all over. This size fits my room. any bigger and i would have to move my x box. 150 bucks cheeper than my three year old 40 inch, with better sound and a much clearer picture. I'll get a 60 when technology gets bigger and price comes down to match this TV. Maybe 3-4 years. Till then, i'm as high tech as I want to be, and lovin it.

I didnt have to move my modem, or get a big booster. internet is fast and netflix works clear in the back bedroom. we have netgear AC1900 in the front of house and this 100 ft upstairs in back, for a boost. now momma and the kids can take their tablets anywhere with no slow signal. wireing in an old house works great.
