I've never been the one to pay high amounts for luxury headphones. But this item was on sale for half (has been going half off-reg price-half off for last couple weeks!) and wife wanted a pair. After ordering she actually wanted different color. Couldn't exchange item but luckily it went on sale again within a week. I liked the headphones so much I kept the color she did not like. Headphones feel really light and not as bulky as I thought. Noise-cancelling feature is awesome. Looking forward to tuning out on long flights. Sound is great. Love the buckling feature as well easy to carry everything in egg shaped case. No complaints at all.

Great value, good performance

Bought this item at $49.99 few weeks ago. Wife's MacBook Pro went dead. It was under warranty but Apple Store said they would have to wipe HDD. Problem was HDD did not show up at all. Was able to create a disc image on this new external HDD using disk utility. Then we backed up the MacBook Pro after it was fixed. Loved the price, ease of use and performance was really good (fast back up)

So am I able to turn my lights off and on right from my phone?
Yes. You can dim and brighten also. You do need the hub though. So I'd suggest getting the starter kit then extra bulbs as needed. Works great.
