Good sound. I've been eyeing this for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. The sound is outstanding. I would give it five stars but sound keep cutting out when using airplay. Gets worse if someone is using the microwave oven. I've never experienced problems with airplay before and this surprised me especially when having paid $600 for the speaker. I later discovered that this is a known issue with this speaker and no solution has been forthcoming.

Does it protect the screen
No it does not. The screen is recessed a little bit, but does not provide complete screen protection.
