Our first new design washer - We love it.

First, our sails person, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the differences between the various machines which helped us decide if the machine we picked was the right one. So far my wife and I are very impressed. The washer is very quiet during all cycles, uses less water, cleans very well and so far we have not experienced any of the loud banging from out of balanced large loads, like we did with our old washer. The spin cycle is very smooth and quiet. The modern controls looked a little intimidating, (I’m an old guy), but the book instructions were good and clear and easy to figure out. This is a very nice looking and well-designed machine. My only concern is the large amount of electronics on board. We live in an area with frequent lightning and storms that cause power and brown outs. It would be nice if there was some built in protection. So far we have had no problems and love the new machine.

Quality Good, View too distant

Quality good, but monitor too small and too distant a view. A vehicle 5 feet behind you looks small. Seeing a person or wheel chair behind you might be difficult unless they were very close. The wide angle view is nice. I used the tag mounting for the camera which seemed to be the best position. Wiring instructions could have been a lot better. The picture quality is ok and the monitor distance gage is handy, but again the size of large objects close behind you appear very small.

when starting a load and water coming into machine
After I push the start button the water starts drawing in and then a loud stop and start several times before water level is reached and then starts to wash. Is this normal? Have only used on the express wash with new sheets and wanted to ask before using again.
This apparently is normal. We noticed the same thing with our new machine. If you read the book that comes with the machine all the way through, it will explain that when the machine first starts and goes through the steps that you described, it is checking the size of the load.
