NYPD Blue was one of those hard hitting true to life series you could not help but like it. The series told of day to day troubles on the job and personal problems of the job of the detectives of the nypd. The changing of the cast every 2 seasons just added a nice mix to the shows chemistry.

Although this season was called Lavern and Shirley the final season, It should have been called Lavern season 1. Shirley gets married and leaves the show and Lavern goes it alone. The crazy situations are fun but not as great as when they were a duo. Still it is worth the investment to get .
