Great idea gone bad

I was initially esstatic when I found out there was a wireless charging pad out there that would conveniently charge my Galaxy S6 Edge without having to plug it in all the time. However, since the first day I bought the device, and even in my first use, the pad stops charging my phone after 15-20 minutes. I have tried repositioning my phone, taking the case off of my phone and being very careful of how I place my phone on the charging pad. Same result everytime. Needless to say, I am not pleased with this idea and has proved to be a waste of money for me. Highly disappointed.
