Overall the unit has a nice compact design. I didn't not get to use it on a full charge but got about 4 hours of playtime right out the box. Living in Miami I took it straight to the beach. My problem is that it's not loud enough. It was hard to listen to the music over the sound of the ocean. That's about my only complaint but it's the whole point of the product.

Overall good product. Rugged construction that so far has done well. I have not dropped the iPad so I can't talk on how well it protects the item. The draw back is that it does not come with a screen protector so you have to buy it separately.
