We had researched various washers, and This LG metal drum washer was rated, excellent. It washes and rinses clothing very well, and the spin cycle dries the clothing VERY well, so that the washed clothing spend less time in the dryer. The LG washer uses very little water, and the wash cycle is also very quiet. When the wash ends, a FUN musical piece plays.

Does not fit all situations

The Dryer Vent is RIGID and cannot easily flex. If your laundry room is small, it may not fit. If replacing an OLD dryer, double-check that you get the SAME vent kit as the OLD one. The Best Buy delivery guy suggested I check out a home improvement store for a replacement. I bought a stretchable 4" diameter vent tubing and cut it to size to fit the small space behind the dryer. Then, I returned the BestBuy Rigid Vent Kit.
What's not so great: Rigid Tube was too long for available dryer room space
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a decent dryer for the price. The lint filter is sturdier than my old Amana Dryer. Because of energy efficiency, it seems to generate LESS heat, so it takes longer to dry the same amount of clothes when compared with my old Amana dryer.
What's great about it: Lint filter is sturdy
What's not so great: Takes longer to dry clothes
I would recommend this to a friend!
