So, my original backlit control for DirectTV receiver/DVR was getting flakey. Tried to find the original. No luck.
This doesn't seem to really be built for this receiver/DVR. Can't change input (so must use TV remote). Can't forward 12 hours at a time-ZERO way around this. I don't see any way to operate the "blue" buttons (keep recorded show).
Occasionally, the volume control won't scroll, and you're forced to click one setting at a time.
I DO like the channel controls which allow you to page through the guide/multiple channels with a single click. That's about the only thing that's better about this control. I'm going to keep looking for original controller.
