I've been looking at getting a DSLR for quite a while. I read the reviews, looked at Cannon's website, and also spoke with a friend who owned a previous version of this camera.
I'm so glad I got this camera. The pictures are beautiful and it's been fairly easy to learn to use. I do recommend going to Cannon's website- there is a series of video tutorials that teach you about the camera and different elements; also how to adjust settings for different situations.
