The Arlo Pro Cameras far exceed my expectations! I was at first turned off by the 720P, having 4) DropCam Pro 1080P cameras in my home already. But the Arlo Pro resolution is comparable to the 1080P cams & offers these benefits:
1- it is completely wireless,
2- cloud monitoring is free up to 5) cameras,
3- they are completely portable,
4- their own hub produces a much more robust connection than WiFi Cameras,
5- the auto IR works perfectly,
6- there are silicon skins to protect the exterior & convert to black
7- there are white & black aluminum weather resistant brackets!
8- the cameras are water resistant for outdoor & indoor use
9- 3-month life using the Li-ion built-in battery!
10- Bright, clear images

Google Home offers a more in depth internet research capability, as you would expect, with the Google Search Engine Access. Here is a summary of Pro's & Con's that I observed:
Google Home Pro's:
1- In depth internet search
2- Accessory color scheme available to customize appearance
3- Closest Google Home answers, unlike Amazon Echo, where ALL devices answer that hear you from various rooms
4- Cost advantage. Google Home has a lower price point than Amazon Echo. Cannot compare with Amazon Dot, as it does not have the powerful internal amp & speakers
5- Google Home is more interactive; after answering a question, if you ask a related question, Google Home can continue as though in a conversation
6- Google Account integration is a distinct advantage

The Apple AirPods are brilliantly engineered & are unique in so many ways. Audio quality is excellent; tap on the AirPod to access Siri; no wires; insert either or both & you are connected accordingly. Self charge in the case with internal Li-Ion battery; noise cancellation works great!
I can only identify one negative: The strong magnet built in the case that retains the 2) AirPods is so strong, it is very difficult for an individual with large fingers & thumb to grasp the super slick & curved AirPods to remove them! They keep sliding away from your fingers, occasionally lifting up 1/2 inch out of the case, only to be sucked back into the case by the over zealous magnet. There needs to be a release button that would push the AirPods away from the magnet about 1/4". This would make it much easier to lift them out of the case.

This Panasonic is the Reference Standard 4K Ultra Hd Video Blu-Ray Player of 2017. I bought the lower cost & highly advertised S****** 4K Blu-Ray on Black Friday, not knowing this Panasonic player existed. I found this Panasonic on Bestbuy.com, so I ordered it & returned the lower cost model.
This player weighs about 4 times a much as the other & is clearly designed as a high end machine. The remote is large with easy to read buttons. The front panel display is clear. It gets down to business very quickly; loads & starts the Blu-Ray or DVD in a fraction of the time as it's competition.
Streaming is fantastic & smooth! Amazon Prime works extremely well, is easy to control; pause stops / starts play instantly. Streaming is very similar to the built-in streaming on the latest E Series ULED LG TV's - which is the best I have ever experienced.
Colors & ultra black levels are amazing!!

Solid Fit - Attractive Design - Finicky Ear Pieces

These sharp looking JBL headphones are designed for active users. They are engineered to stay on your ears during the most aggressive workouts but have very finicky ear pieces, known as: "enhancements", that are frustrating to set up.
Here is a summary of 10) Pro's & Con's:
PRO'S
1- Twistlock design retains headphones securely. Compared with the Apple AirPods, these headphones will not fall off your head during physical exercise & running, even in rain & / or sweating conditions. - Best Feature!
2- Very attractive appearance & design.
3- Good 12" length for connecting cord - if anything, it could be 1/2" longer.
4- Beautiful packaging with magnetic closure.
5- JBL name & reputation.
6- Classy water resistant carry pouch with silicon texture exterior.
7- Heart rate monitor works reliably, but I always wear an Apple Watch Generation 2, so I could have skipped that feature & saved $50.
8- Solid, easy to connect Bluetooth provides 25' range from source.
9- Superior sound isolation - those around you do not hear bits or pieces of your music.

2- Disappointing sound quality, totally dependent upon proper seal with the ear. Primarily high frequencies heard and virtually no bass with Size 7 enhancers. After struggling to try Size 6 in order to possibly hear more bass, I decided to put up with the lack of bass, rather than fiddle any longer & probably tear the enhancers.
3- Compared with Apple AirPods, which do not require fiddling to achieve great sound, these JBL's do require considerable fiddling to get good sound with bass frequencies - and the AirPods sound better.
4- Compared with Apple AirPods, which insert in your ear & automatically connect via Bluetooth, these JBL's require manual pressing & holding the button to connect or disconnect Bluetooth.
5- I feel for $199, the free One year membership to MapMyRun app should be free Lifetime membership.
6- Printed documentation has tiny print, with barely legible font.
7- Compared with the dual microphone Apple AirPods, which serve as noise cancellation, these JBL's pick up the noise around you & make it difficult for the person on the other end to hear & to understand you. I peal them off my ears and take the calls with my iPhone now, so each of us can hear one another. Useless for phone calls except in a very quiet setting.
8- Bluetooth control is a pain, located on the wire itself & nearly midway between the ears with tiny buttons.
9- "Adjust headphones" prompt is annoying as you put the headphones on or take them off.
10- Separate pairing required for sound & for heartbeat monitoring.

Blazing Speed, Best In Class Performance!

The Linksys - Velop Tri-Band Whole Home Wi-Fi System (3-pack) is packaged in a beautiful & functional box with magnetic closure - it exudes quality! Each Node is protected individually. Just looking at the box, you expect a premium, esoteric product... & Linksys delivers that & more in spades! The shapely Nodes are beautiful & blend with any decorating style.
Simple set-up via the Linksys iOS or Android App. Within minutes, you are ready to go online.
As shown in attached photo, I have 90 wireless devices utilized over 5,000 sq feet / 3 floors: this is a challenging application for high speed Wi-Fi that includes: connected major appliances; BAS ceiling fans & Haiku Wi-Fi connected lights; Wi-Fi Thermostats; Netatmo Wi-Fi Weather Station; 65 Hue Lights; Connected exterior door locks; Wink Wi-Fi connected devices; connected iDevices, Nest & Arlo cameras; iPads; iPhones & computers. Finally, Streaming from 4) Apple TV's; Nixplay Wi-Fi Photo Frames.
And now the Results:
Velop delivers the fastest Wi-Fi speed I have ever experienced and does so consistently! The attached screen capture shows 349 Mbps Download / 23 Mbps Upload. These are WIRELESS speeds!! I pay for 300 Mbps Download / 30 Mbps Upload & our internet service provider generally delivers 300 - 360 Download & 22 - 32 Upload.
Velop is the only Wi-Fi System I have found to date that actually delivers this sustainable speed and does not randomly disconnect the many devices.
High power Wi-Fi requires a high current source. Each of the 3) square white power supplies produce 12 Volt, 2 Amp output! 24VA (Volt Amps) is the highest output of any router I have tested. Better yet, the cable that plugs into each Velop is perfectly angled at the plug so the wire routs neatly through the cable management feature at the base. Brilliant design!

1- IP Address range cannot be changed from: 192.***. My 2) existing Apple Time Capsule / Routers had IP addresses of 10.***, but they can be set to different ranges. A different IP Address range requires individually resetting a few devices that previously connected to the other range. For example, each Nixplay connected frame had to manually "Forget" the old Wi-Fi name of the previous SSID, then set up the same name with Velop, even though the Wi-Fi name and password are the same. On 13) Apple Airport Express devices, I had to power down each device to reset it from 10.*** to 192.***
2- IPv6 is not supported as of product release. This is surprising, as my three year old Apple Time Capsule / Router supported IPv6.
3- The first unit set up in under 10 minutes; however the remaining two hubs froze at the same exact place midway every time during set-up. After 6 failed attempts, I held each Node horizontally and kept my hand around it. Surprisingly, this procedure resulted in a virtually immediate set-up! Then I set each Node vertically & it continued to work great.
4- Only one Node can connect to the internet via ethernet. The other Nodes connect to the first Node via wireless mesh connection. I would prefer the option of connecting each Node to a wired ethernet connection. Linksys Technical Support indicated this may be added later as a software update. This would prove beneficial because the Nodes must be located fairly close together (my tests showed less than 40 feet apart at most).

ELEGANT UNTETHERED SECURITY + FREE CLOUD STORAGE

Arlo Pro by NETGEAR offers an elegant, truly wireless solution to security. The 2) High Definition 720P cameras included with the base in this package are each powered by a removable, rechargeable Li-ion battery. Picture quality is excellent & each camera can be located quite a distance from the included hub. I cannot find a weak point within my 5,000 sq foot house - including outside on the porch or on the deck.
Each camera includes a powerful magnetic wall mount, adjustable to view at any angle. One power adaptor & cable is included to charge a camera / battery when needed. With typical use, the battery is estimated to keep it's charge for several months!
These cameras are super easy to set up! Basically load the app on your phone / iPad, plug in the base & press a button!
The motion sensitivity is amazing! I set a camera on the front porch, parallel with the street, which is about 60 feet from the house. Each passing car triggered an email alert. Playing the captured video back, you could easily see the car color, make & model - and immediately recognize which neighbor was driving by!
I own 4) competitive 1080P security cameras for which I pay $250 / year to monitor the 4) with a 10-day Cloud storage. While they deliver a slightly more detailed picture, they each must be plugged in to the wall to operate & if you lose power, you lose the picture. On the other hand, these Arlo Pro cameras are very close in resolution to those 1080P cameras, feature automatic built-in IR emitters for night vision up to 25 feet away, are self-powered by an internal battery for true security, and feature a very easy to use App.
A HUGE money saving benefit with Arlo Pro is FREE 7-Day CLOUD STORAGE for up to 5 cameras!! Once you buy the cameras, you are set & do not have any additional costs for monitoring!
My uses include:
1- Front Door Cam
2- Front Door Side Profile View Cam
3- Deck Cam
4- Patio Cam
5a- The 5th camera will serve as a portable, carry around camera for short term, temporary use. When I smoke meat, vegetables or cheese in the Big Green Egg, I can sit this camera in front of the optional digital temperature controller to read smoker set point & actual temp reading anywhere, using the Arlo app, with multiple users.
5b- When we are away, place the 5th portable camera in the cat tree to keep track of our kitties' antics.

The Google Wifi Ac1200 is the first Router I have tried in my 4,000+ sq foot house capable of delivering a strong and consistent Wifi signal throughout the house!
This is the easiest router to set up; it is designed as "goof proof", not as a router that you can tinker with all of the settings.
I achieved 225 Mbps Internet speed. This set of 3) hubs is a keeper!
I have 82 WiFi devices connected, including HUE, WINK, Miele, BAS (Connected Fans), DropCams. The only difficulty I had was connecting HUE. I called Google & was connected to a clear speaking, helpful tech in under 1 minute. It just took powering the 2) HUE hubs down & powering them back up. Same with the WINK hub.
Suggestion: When you have it working as you like it, leave it alone. I tried moving the 2) WiFi modules to achieve the fastest mesh WiFi speed. I moved them about 8 times. Now I lost my HUE and my WINK hub connections. It is an easy fix - just restart everything.
Summary: Great Router for larger areas or use 1 device as needed. Highly recommended!

How long should the motor last? After cleaning my bottom row, the motor loses power. ♿
If you were having what sounds like the motor losing power after just cleaning the bottom row, I would take it back to where you bought it, and ask for a new unit. This motor should last for years, and I certainly do not see any slow down of the motor each time.

When are they going to release a wireless version? I don't like cables. this sucha nueisance can you fix?
Like you, I preferred the battery version, so I bought a smaller, less powerful, battery operated Waterpik. If you get the opportunity to read my review, you will see that it was completely ineffective and a waste of time. This tool is so powerful, I cannot see them offering a battery powered version because the additional cost would most likely raise it to another hundred dollars over the existing price. So I’m putting up with the cord in the bathroom because the results are phenomenal.

Do you use tooth paste or gel with the water pink sonic 20?
Personally I use the same toothpaste, Colgate or Crest, that are used with my Sonicare toothbrush.

I always put warm water in the part for flossing but the water feels very cold when it goes into my mouth. Does anyone else have that problem?
I noticed the same thing, but since I’ve only owned mine for a week, I am playing with the water temperature. Right now I am using nearly hot water and it does feel better when it first goes in your mouth. I do not think it’s a problem. I actually suspect that the water pic holds a certain amount of water in the pump that naturally would be room temperature, and it takes probably 10 seconds for the new hotter water that you have added to enter the pump. Notice that the temperature in your mouth feels warmer after about 10 seconds? That is my guess on the reason that we feel the water is cold.
One thing I will try is to run the floss 5 to 10 seconds in the sink before putting it in a mouth to see if that warms the water about letting the warmer water fill up the pump.

does this camera system run on a 5g mhz speed wifi i have at&t fiber internet and my camera system that i have now BLINK only works off of 2.4 mhz speed .
The cameras run on 2.4 ghz speed, not 5 ghz.

Does it record movement
Yes, BUT - the cameras respond VERY SLOWLY. In a high performing WiFi area, my cameras take 15 - 20 seconds to respond to movement on a good day. Read my review for detailed reason for this. What you get in return for such slow responding cameras is very long 3-6 month battery life between charges. If you hope to catch a package thief, you will be disappointed. The camera will wake up after the thief has departed. If you hope to catch a thief breaking into your house, this is the ideal system.

I already have a full simplisafe system. Can I purchase this set for the additional parts?
Most likely, you cannot. I have a SimpliSafe system from about 3 years ago. I cannot merge the 2) systems. I can use the same door stitches, but I cannot add the cameras to my old SimpliSafe system.

No, but all you get without paying for monitoring is real time viewing without the ability to capture or save video. Please read my review carefully, as I point out that you need the $25 / Month monitoring plan to capture continuous video from the app. This fact is not advertised clearly.
