The Acer S271HL GBIDX 27" Monitor is a modern, borderless color monitor. It is budget priced & offers value for the money.
LIKES:
1- Lightweight, small profile makes it easy to locate in tight places.
2- Blue light on Power Button can be easily switched On / Off by one of the first Menu settings. See blue light ON in attached photos.
3- Very bright LED backlit screen rated at 300 cd/m². Factory set to "Brightness: 100%". Back this down & the contrast improves / colors are less washed out.
4- DVI, VGA, HDMI Inputs.
5- Anti-Glare matte Screen.
6- Energy Star Certified.
7- Anti-slip base stays put on the desk.
8- The borderless screen: "Zero Frame", as Acer calls it, looks great & very modern.
9- Three Year Parts & Labor Warranty.
DISLIKES:
1- Extremely tight swivel mechanism. A very hard push is required to tilt the screen - it feels like the screen will break before it tilts because the plastic frame flexes, despite not swiveling as designed.
2- Power supply is external, so you have to deal with a power brick & a cord that plugs in to this monitor.
3- No speakers in this monitor.
4- Motion blur is seen watching a movie from Amazon Fire TV through the HDMI port. This will not affect monitor performance, but I would not recommend it for gamers or for watching video through HDMI.
5- No Webcam onboard.
6- No height adjustment.
7- Colors are muted; not vibrant, even after calibration. See attached photos of a highly detailed photo I captured; one with & one without onboard settings.
8- HDMI Cable is not included; however a VGA cable is included.
9- No remote for monitor adjustments. Onboard settings, accessible by hidden buttons below the monitor, just to the left of the power button. are shown in attached photo.
10- Limited to 1920 x 1080 Resolution.
CONCLUSION:
This 27" monitor will serve even the brightest office environment well, where the objective is to read documents, email & text.
However, due to the referenced limitations, it is not recommended for gaming, movies or photo editing.

Update Your Garage Door to App Control

This Smart Garage Hub is easy to install in about 15 minutes. I love knowing when my garage door is opening or closing. You can even let a neighbor or a friend in remotely. It is extremely handy. I receive alerts on my mobile phone when the garage opens or closes.
But, hidden in the details is the subscription you will need to accomplish all but the most basic functions. Fees apply after thirty days for IFTTT and Google Home control. Read the product description. Google and other companies provide their service for free for all smart devices, so charging for this interface should be eliminated, in my opinion. Access to both will run you $20/yr on top of the $100 for the device itself.
This hub is compatible with most brands of garage door openers made after 1993.
Nice package size: 1.5" x 4.5" x 4.5".
Includes Wi-Fi Hub Power Supply, Bracket for Hub, Door Sensor, Hardware, User's Guide & Warning Decal.
CONCLUSION:
The myQ Smart Garage Hub MYQ-G0301 is a convenient device to retrofit most garage doors for remote monitoring & control. I would choose a different device if you intend to use IFTTT and Google Home control because of the fees. For basic monitoring & control, MYQ-G0301 will satisfy most users.

The Sony GTK-XB90 is the most powerful, best sounding Bluetooth "Party Speaker" that Sony has released to date. That is no small feat, as Sony created this market & introduces progressively more upscale & bold models. This BEAST is the KINGDADDY of "Party Speakers"!
Weighing in at 31 lb & standing a full 26.4" H, 13.2" D & 13.2" W, this speaker makes a powerful statement just by showing up. Fire it up - WOW!
LIKES:
1- Fully customizable dazzling lights create a festive atmosphere; you set woofer & surrounding ring colors, as well as the strobe lights wirelessly with a free app. The high-spirited lighting drew more accolades than the musicality of the speaker! At one point, I sat this speaker in the family room during a family reunion with quiet conversation, and turned the music off. Ever changing hues augmented the spirit of good-fellowship in this intimate setting.
2- A microphone jack with variable input level on the back of the speaker blend with direct plug-in or Bluetooth audio to facilitate a perfect Karaoke setup.
3- The Bluetooth range is the most extensive of any speaker I have tested. I set the iPad 30 feet away and it played continuously without any dropouts.
One touch NFC Pairing makes Bluetooth connection a breeze for phones so equipped.
4- Audio Equalization, Flanger, Isolator, Wah, and other features are wirelessly customizable via the free App.

9- Who else but Sony would include DSEE on a Party Speaker - a cool feature that enhances the quality of compressed digital music files. The Digital Sound Enhancement Engine is very effective & adds clarity to high frequencies.
10- This is the only Bluetooth Speaker I have ever tested with BOTH Audio Input & Output connections. Amazon Fire TV connected to a projector via HDMI, then audio fed to this speaker using R+L RCA jacks change a "tin horn" 3" projector speaker to a room-filling overture. Still not enough bass? Add a subwoofer to the output jacks! BOOM!!
11- Up to 3 smartphones can connect to this speaker simultaneously via Bluetooth, allowing 3) music libraries to share tracks.
12- With 2) 7.09" Woofers & 3) 2.36" Tweeters, the GTK-XB90 plays horizontally or vertically in full stereo. Or add additionally speakers as aforementioned & spread the stereo effect.
DISLIKES:
1- I would prefer even more bass at lower overall volume levels. This can be accomplished today by plugging in an external subwoofer to the output jacks.
CONCLUSION:
Sony totally built the GTK-XB90 to create the ultimate "Party-On-The-Go". It nails this with brute power to play LOUD, yet with the finesse of clear audio. When you ROCK OUT with this Club Speaker, you will earn GEEK CRED! I am loving it!!

Backing up your iPhone without using the cloud is the target objective of the SanDisk - iXpand Base. The other benefit is to charge the phone. Several storage options exist: 64GB; 128GB & 256GB; select the memory appropriate to the photos & videos you keep on your phone.
LIKES:
1- iXpand is a quality built, premium product. The black & silver blend into any office or home.
2- Wire management groove maintains a neat, professional appearance.
3- Modest Cost. It is important to note that the cost includes a premium quality high speed SanDisk SD Memory Card.
4- The charging base charges your iPhone at the same time it backs up the phone. This is convenience at it's best!
5- Back-up speed is amazingly fast! I backed up over 600 photos in 5 minutes.
6- Future Proof: You can back-up multiple iPhones on this one device. Should you run out of storage, simply buy an additional SD Card.
7- Uses Standard Micro USB connector & includes power supply.
8- Interchangeable memory / easy to plug into a computer for storage.
DISLIKES:
1- No Wireless charging for iPhone 8.
2- The USB Plug fit very tight. Hint: I had difficulty plugging the USB plug that connects to the Lightning connector. Gently tilt the USB Plug up and down as you plug it in.
3- Only works with the iXpand app.
4- Can only store videos, photos & contacts.
5- Lightning to USB Cable is not included. Since it is difficult to plug in & is a tight fit, you want to plug the cable in 1 time and forget it. You may wish to buy a spare cable to use this device.
6- Only works on iPhones.
CONCLUSION: iXpand is a great tool to back up multiple iPhones without internet / when the Cloud is undesired or is simply not available. It is a very well designed product; however it is missing a few details listed above, which preclude it from earning 5 Stars.

The backlit keys let you type easily in any lighting, and the battery lasts up to one year between charges for reliable performance. INTRODUCTION:
The Brydge 10.5 raises the bar for the very best Wireless Keyboard for the 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro that money can buy. This keyboard is built with high grade aluminum with choice of Space Gray, Silver, Gold or Rose Gold precision finish that perfectly matches the 10.5" iPad Pro.
The keys are super responsive to the touch & only travel 1.2 mm; the feel is crisp & precise. Stroke any key & the backlit keys instantly illuminate. You can even select 3 levels of illumination right from the keyboard!
REVIEW:
This keyboard contains 78 keys, so you have the Apple iOS specific keys, music player, volume up / down, Bluetooth, etc. on the top row.
With the iPad Pro 10.5 installed to this keyboard, total thickness with it "closed" is only 1/2". A competitive wireless keyboard measures 1.1" thick in the same "closed" position.
Set-up is very quick & simple: Insert the iPad into the rubber coated supports (they will not scratch or mar the iPad). Press the Power button for 3 seconds until the green light illuminates. Press the Bluetooth pair button for 3 seconds. The Power button flashes blue. Go to Settings / Bluetooth on the iPad. Select "Brydge 10.5". The power button stops flashing & becomes solid blue. All set!
Battery life is the longest I have seen in a Wireless Keyboard. I charged it fully, which took 3 hours. Brydge claims if used 2 hrs / day, the battery will hold it's charge for 1 year!
The only concern I have is the weight of adding a keyboard to a lightweight tablet. If you build a quality product using premium materials, such as high grade aluminum in this case, expect to add weight. The keyboard (not including the 1 ib. iPad Pro) measured 1 lb. 3 7/8 oz on a precision kitchen scale. The combined weight of 10.5" iPad Pro + Keyboard = 2 lb. 3 7/8 oz. By comparison, this is lighter & thinner than the 13.3" 2.96 lb, 0.7" thick MacBook Air. For times when you want to "go light", simply hold the keyboard securely on a solid surface & pull up on the iPad to remove it from the rubber coated clamps. It makes the iPad a "Convertible". Perfect!! Now you have the best of both worlds.
CONCLUSION:
This is a beautiful, fully equipped keyboard for the 10.5" iPad Pro. The best compliment I can give it is simply: the Brydge Wireless Keyboard does not look like an Aftermarket accessory to your iPad Pro. It honestly looks like OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)! Expect it to turn heads!

DISLIKES:
1- Router is not Bridge Mode capable. I use 4) Routers in Bridge Mode to build a powerful Mesh Network with 97 wireless clients throughout 5,000 square feet over 3 floors + IP cameras outdoors. Unfortunately, the WRT32X cannot join other Linksys routers in an existing Network in Bridge Mode. (Linksys EA9500 & EA9300 do a great job in Bridge Mode!). Surprisingly, this is the only router I have tested in the past 2 years without Bridge Mode capability.
2- This Router does not use the Linksys Router Management Mobile App that every Linksys Router I own uses. Set-up is managed through IP Address (see Preface for the hiccup this caused).
CONCLUSION:
The WRT32X is a huge success & achieves what no other Router can accomplish today. It is a highly capable High Speed Router. For those gamers with a Killer-enabled PC, this is a Must Have Router to complete the Ultimate Gaming System.
For non gaming use, this router shines with high speed, though the cost premium for the Killer Prioritization Engine may be a concern, since gaining that benefit requires a Killer-enabled PC.
If you need to cover a very large area, such as 5,000 square feet / 3 floors, using Bridge Mode on multiple Routers is a common technique to expand your network; however this is a feature not included on the WRT-32X.

The Epson Pro EX9220 is designed to give your presentations the WINNING EDGE with the highest color & white brightness levels & tack sharp images. Surprisingly, with all of the input choices, mirror capability & a loaded remote, I simply plugged in an HDMI cable, turned on my source, slid the projector lens door open & pressed Power. In about 20 seconds, the Pro 9220 had automatically selected my input & there was a sunning image with sound! This is the easiest projector to set up I have ever used!
LIKES:
1- BRIGHT Color & White Images show high contrast, even in a brightly lit room!! 3,600 rated lumens color & white brightness.
2- Razor Sharp images with extraordinary detail: 1080p+ WUXGA resolution: (1920 x 1200) offers 4.5x more resolution than SVGA for full HD 1080p content.
3- Near silent operation (37dB in Normal Power Consumption mode; 28dB in ECO mode).

Unfortunately, my input source (Amazon Fire TV) does NOT have an external audio output & I am stuck with the limited audio from the projector speaker.
2- Adding Bluetooth would also enable porting sound to external speakers.
CONCLUSION:
The Epson Pro EX9220 Projector can transform your mundane submission to a professional presentation with stunning visual appeal that will long be remembered. It earns my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Premium Quality Digital Optical Cable Priced Right

Rocketfish offers Premium Digital Audio Cables that deliver the clearest audio & are built to last a lifetime!
I use premium cables to bring out DTS & Dolby Atmos while viewing the latest LG OLED 4K UHD TV. I chose a Rocketfish cable from Best Buy instead of the much more expensive and highly advertised premium cable brand. The 2 photos show this Rocketfish Digital Optical Cable.
The sound quality through the Rocketfish HDMI is stunning using DTS & Dolby Atmos source material. I could not hear any difference between the Rocketfish and the most highly advertised brands that cost several times more.
Examinations of the cable's physical attributes show very expensive materials, with no shortcuts. The cable is very thick (approximately 3/8" diameter) showing extra durability in the cable. The plugs are super heavy duty, an incredibly strong, lightweight material with the highest physical strength - the thickness & the plugs are exactly the same as the most expensive "premium brand" cables.
Beware of THIN optical cables. They do not flex many times without breaking the optical cable inside. Thin cables cost less, and are less expensive to manufacture. On the "high end" extreme, well engineered plugs add physical strength (they won't break if hit).
This cable made a believer out of me. Rocketfish offers the absolute BEST in quality digital optical audio signal transmission with the highest quality construction at the best value.

Miracle Worker on Pet Stains

My wife & I share our 5,000 square foot home with 3) adult rescued cats & 1) bird. One cat is senior & another has sensitive stomach. Between the 2, we are guaranteed to have a mess to clean up every night. We had 2) today.
Until now, we would bring out the large steam cleaner every time, and depending on which of the 3) floors is involved, this meant carrying the 20+ # steamer up or down the stairs. My wife & I are both Seniors, so this is a real burden. Spot cleaning has not worked in the past, and has set stains more often than make them disappear.
Neither of us had high expectations for the Bissell Pet Stain Eraser - simply because we have been cleaning up the difficult way for so long, we did not believe a simpler way existed. Thankfully, we were wrong!!
I removed the Pet Stain Eraser from the box, and within an hour, a cat obliged us with an opportunity to use it! It was a "Here goes nothing" moment. Filled it with the included bottle of BISSELL® Professional Spot & Stain + Oxy Formula - Portable Cleaners. Plugged in the power supply & waited for the 3 blue bars.
We turned it on, pressed the fluid spray on the target & rubbed it with the brush. The stain disappeared! Figured it might reappear in the morning. It didn't - in fact, it looked even better & was completely gone!

Next we tried an old area rug that had more pet stains than we could count - and some have been on it for 10 years! The steamer had not removed the stains, but had sanitized the rug. This little tool is a Miracle Worker on Pet Stains!!
Tonight I bought several 32 ounce BISSELL® Professional Spot & Stain + Oxy Formula - Portable Cleaners because we have already used up the 2) 6 ounce bottles that were included.
Here are detailed observations:

3- Inexpensive (compared to a strong steamer, especially)

1- Would pay extra for a holster to hang it on the wall; this is a tool that has to sit around or be placed in a drawer. We use it daily; a wall holster would be so handy.

Logitech Craft Wireless Keyboard sets your desk apart, exuding quality & precision workmanship. My existing keyboard is an Apple Magic Keyboard. I did not think I could ever find a better keyboard, until Logitech engineered Craft. This is truly an amazing piece of engineering!
LIKES:
1- Appearance is expensive / premium quality / high end product. See 2) attached photos.
2- Build Quality is top notch. I was shocked at the extreme attention to detail & workmanship built into Craft! Example: The knob, described in Point #4, is made of machined aluminum, not plastic!
3- The keys are honed to a deep cup shape & are a delight to the touch.
4- The prominent, aluminum knob on the back left is programmable through software & is app dependent. By default on my Mac Pro, it adjusts system volume & can control parameters in Word, Excel & many creative applications.
5- Mac & PC friendly.
6- Numeric Pad built-in.
7- Silent, positive action keys.
8- Backlit keys illuminate as your hands approach the keyboard before you actually touch any keys. This helps locate the keys & the effect is beautiful. The backlight also reacts to the light in your space & increases or decreases illumination as ambient lighting changes.
9- 3) Mac, PC, or tablet Device control from this one keyboard by touching 1, 2, or 3 special keys, each with connection indicator lights.
10- The dark gray & aluminum color blends in with any office environment.
11- Extra keys such as monitor brightness, volume up / down, Dashboard, etc. function exactly as OEM keyboard. No lost functionality.
12- Perfect compliment to MX Master 2S Mouse in color, feel, functionality & 3 device control.
13- Logitech App allows many specific tweaks.
14- Long range wireless transmission (over 32 feet).
15- Easily recharge by the included USB type C cable.
16- Caps Lock light.
17- I am using Craft with PowerPlay Gaming Mouse Pad, G903 mouse & G703 mouse & MX Master 2S Mouse. They all work together beautifully & make a killer setup! See 2) attached photos.
18- Heavy, sturdy construction. Weighs 960 grams (2.12 #). Craft sits where placed & does not slide or move around.
DISLIKES:
1- Space between "alt opt" and "C" or "V" keys is twice the distance apart compared with an Apple keyboard; thumb & index finger can barely reach these frequently used keys for Copy / Paste. This results in hitting "Command alt" by mistake (then having to repeat the process).
2- Latest Mac Pro required the included Unifying Received USB to connect. Connecting via Bluetooth to Mac Pro failed immediately upon each attempt. Yet, iPad Pro connected via Bluetooth without a hitch.
CONCLUSION:
This is the heaviest, best built keyboard I have ever seen, much less owned! Craft is the Platinum Standard Wireless Keyboard & earns my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!

You are exactly correct. 6600 Mbps is a misrepresentation by 3 X 2200 Mbps. I personally saw a max speed of 348Mbps. Please read my review; this router is incompatible with select devices, including BAS Fans & Lights, as well as DropCam Pro (Nest Cam).

what is the difference between the 'narrow' and 'wide' versions of the 90 HDMI adapter?
Use wide to redirect a cable from an LG or SONY TV - note whether the narrow or wide side is in the bend. If you pick narrow in that case, it will direct your cable the wrong way.

will this adapter distort the image or make it weaker ??
There is absolutely no distortion or weakness whatsoever! Audioquest is well known for their premium quality cables & interconnects. I use 2 of these on 3) inputs to my LG 4K OLED with perfect results. Plug 2 in to reverse the cable direction 180 degrees back to the center of the TV. See attached photos.
