Turbotax is very dependable Tax Software. I used Turbotax for 15 years straight. It searches for last year's Turbotax file on your computer & when you select it, the software loads last year's return & all of your personal information. This saves a lot of time. It also checks for any omissions or additions from last year's return, making for a more accurate & honest tax filing. every time you launch Turbotax, it checks to see if there are any updates.

Google Home Mini is a versatile miniature rendition of Google Home with a smaller, yet surprisingly good sounding speaker. Similar to it's larger sibling, simply call out "OK Google" or "Hey Google" and speak your request.
The strong suit, not surprising, for this Google assistant, is to address a question that can be answered by Google search engine. That is where it really shines & blows away it's competition. For this reason I recommend owning at least one of these or one of the full sized Google Home, if you prefer.
If you already own a competitive virtual assistant, I recommend you buy this Google Home Mini. Owning both one or more Google Home Mini's and a competitive assistant make perfect sense. Each has a specialty and can do specific tasks better than the other. Owning BOTH offers you the best of both worlds.
In addition to voice controls (that I prefer), tap the top to pause or resume music playback, and you can tap and hold to activate the Assistant. To adjust the volume, you tap the sides of the device. Or best yet, simply SPEAK your command!

I bought 4) Nest Cam IQ Cameras from Best Buy to replace 4) Drop Cam Pro cameras with annual subscriptions. This was no easy decision, as the Drop Cam Pros were working perfectly. The advanced performance of the new IQ is stunning!! So stunning that I just pre-ordered 6) Outdoor Nest Cam IQ that Best Buy sells discounted in 2-packs to join these Indoor cams.
IMPROVEMENTS OVER PREVIOUS CAMERA:
1- 8K resolution sensor delivers a MUCH sharper image
2- Lower light sensitivity produces a much brighter image in low light
3- Higher quality lens adds to the sharper image
4- Auto Zoom feature is amazing. Camera sees & tracks motion beautifully
5- Facial recognition / Familiar Face Detection works great most of the time. It even recognizes the difference between our 2) orange Tabby cats & identifies the cats by name!
6- Speaker is much more powerful
7- 3) levels of video compression are user settable in the App for each Nest IQ Camera you own. This is extremely useful for cameras that are located a great distance from your WiFi router; increasing the video compression rate on that camera will reduce or eliminate the delay (seen as a spinning wheel with a delay in showing the image on your phone or tablet) in transmitting a clear photo. Cameras located in stronger Wi-Fi signal areas can be set to the highest quality / lowest video compression. This will deliver a video in stunning quality.
8- User adjustable on / off front indicator light is very useful.

WHAT IS LEFT TO IMPROVE?
The Familiar Face Recognition will occasionally identify my wife or me as a new face if we go by the camera quickly, or are seen through a glass door at an angle that distorts our image. It asks: "Do you know this person?" & "What is their Name?" I type in my wife's or my own name. At that point, the app should combine the picture with the many pictures already captured with the same name identified, but it does not. Unfortunately, it creates a new file with my wife's or my name & the picture just captured. So I have several Familiar Face files with her or my name that cannot be combined. I have already eliminated several files with our same names. Again, facial recognition / familiar face works most of the time & is a great tool.
CONCLUSION:
The Nest Cam IQ Camera is an amazing engineering accomplishment & it easily earns my Highest Recommendation!!

PRELIMINARY THOUGHTS:
MOHU SUPREME multi-directional antenna is a premium top-of-the-line indoor antenna. MOHU indoor antennas are the highest rated in the industry for a reason. They work consistently & install with no fuss. I connected mine to an LG HDTV, located on the ground floor of a brick house. It took longer to open the box & remove the components than to plug it in my TV. I simply pressed Auto Tune, and the TV found 17 digital channels, all crystal clear.
PROS:
1- Simply plug it in and press auto tune on your HDTV. You have digital TV channels!
2- Powerful 15dB gain.
3- Paper thin! Dimensions: 21.5” x 11.5” x 0.04”.
4- So easy to connect, no instructions are needed; uses a standard 75 ohm F Connector, the standard “TV” screw-on connector.
5- Up to a 65 mile reception.
6- I pick up 17 digital channels in a metropolitan area with a population of approximately 318,000.
7- Works equally well with HDTV & 4K TV.
8- 2) detachable 10’ white premium quality coaxial cables are included with a barrel connector to add them together for 20 feet distance from the TV. This is a great idea, because in my case, 10 feet is more than sufficient, so I did not need to hide the extra 10 feet of cable. Installation is much easier because the cable can be routed neatly after the antenna is placed.
9- In our area, 720P HDTV is broadcast, and it looks exactly the same as cable, with no jitter or interference.

Both ovens produced cookies with identical texture & flavor!

Irresistible Real Moving Prey Simulator

I am generally one who researches product reviews but when I went to Best Buy to pick up the new Nest IQ Cam, I saw this Petcube Play & bought it on the spot as an impulse - what pet would not deserve such an innovative cat toy!
I returned it the next day, because it appeared to have a problem. When the 2nd one had the same problem, I called the manufacturer, who offers 24/7 live help!! I was pleasantly surprised by the clear speaking, super helpful, intelligent technical support they offered.
Here is what to watch for, if you buy it: Petcube moves the laser around and chases the cat, then stops and rests. The original rest time was an hour. Nowhere in the instructions do they mention a wait time. So it appeared to be defective. They pushed a firmware update for me that is now a standard update. It reduced the rest time to about 15 minutes. That is ideal.
Our 3) rescued cats sit by the cube, waiting for it to come on. They have to move after 15 minutes of rest time to wake it up. They go crazy & pounce on the laser. Petcube sends a clear video to your free app each time there is movement. You can clearly see your cat's antics chasing the red laser "prey"!

How do you charge the cameras?
An included magnetic cord with USB is used to charge the battery. Simply place it on the bottom of the Ultra Camera & it sticks & electrically connects to the camera. You have the option of keeping power on the battery during use, if a wall outlet is handy.

I have an Eero wireless router with 3 satellite ports. It works well in my 2 story home. Do the cameras need to be 50 to 100 ft from the base or from the Eero satellite port?
The cameras must directly interact with the Base. The "Smart" features are actually in the Base. I am finding much greater distance than the quoted distance of the Ultra camera rom the Base. The base plugs into the router via Ethernet, so the Wireless Router distance to the camera does not matter.

How long do batteries last on the cameras
The answer totally depends on the amount of motion the camera sees. In a quiet environment, I saw nearly 2 months of battery life. In a high motion environment, I had to charge it about once / week. By motion, I mean a dog or a person alerting the camera to motion.

YES! I have 5) Arlo Pro 2 Cameras & they work beautifully with the new Smart Base that is included with the new Arlo Ultra. Yours will work beautifully!
However, you cannot pair the new Ultra Camera with the old base you used with your Arlo Pro 2 Cameras. You will no longer need or would want to use that old base. This new one is far superior.

These allow one thermostat to be temperature controlled from any room in the house with this sensor. Plus, the Nest App will show the actual room temp at every room where you placed a sensor.
By contrast, if you bought a few thermostats for your house, and tried to pull the wires from your HVAC to each thermostat, you would still need manual switches to go from 1 to 2 to 3, for example, because only 1 thermostat can connect to 1 HVAC at a time. That would be a nightmare.

The product page shows that a $25 rebate is available to purchasers in Cape Cod. The MA-saves website shows no option to get such a rebate. Which is correct ??
The rebate would be through your utility company. I would recommend calling your local utility company in Cape Cod & ask them to send you the rebate form.

Why it is not able to connect to my laptop? It works well with the iphone.
The headphones may be automatically connecting to your iPhone, retaining that connection, and if so, cannot connect to your laptop if it is nearby, as Bluetooth can connect to only one source at a time.
Power your iPhone off as a test, or, if you prefer, simply swipe up the screen from the bottom & select Bluetooth OFF.
Then go to settings on your laptop - Bluetooth - make visible. Press & hold the headphone power button on. Look for the headphones on your laptop Bluetooth list. It should be there now. Click on the WH-CH700N.
Power your iPhone back on, or restore Bluetooth, which you previously turned off.
Power your iPhone off as a test, or, if you prefer, simply swipe up the screen from the bottom & select Bluetooth OFF.
Then go to settings on your laptop - Bluetooth - make visible. Press & hold the headphone power button on. Look for the headphones on your laptop Bluetooth list. It should be there now. Click on the WH-CH700N.

Can you activate Google Assistant with the mic like you can Siri? I didn't see it listed as a feature.

You can activate an assistant with the WH-CH700N the same as you can with the iOS Home button.
If you can activate Google Assistant by pressing the Home Button & speaking into the phone, then you can activate Google Assistant with the WH-CH700N.
However, if you press the Home Button & it only brings up Siri, that is the same result to expect from WH-CH700N.
Go to Settings - Accessibility - Home Button - Voice Control. If you can get Google Assistant to open, then the answer to your question is YES.
