Panasonic Easy-to-Use Modern Sound System

Panasonic Model # SC-PM270PP-K is a modern stereo system with 2) separate speakers that is ideal for a bedroom or a small office. It weighs only 8.2 lbs, yet it offers sound quality that is crisp & clear. Total power output is 20 Watts: 10 Watts / Channel.
An integrated CD player is great for playing all of the tunes in your collection from yesterday. The radio provides very good FM reception. The included remote control provides complete access to this stereo; simply add batteries to the remote (not included).
My favorite feature of this Panasonic Stereo is Bluetooth. The Bluetooth on this stereo is amazingly easy to connect to your phone or other device. Since my grandson will be the primary user of this stereo, the fact that Bluetooth connection is effortless is a huge benefit.

This stereo has a USB Type A Port located in the front to enable plugging in a USB drive as another music source. Sound can be fine tuned by the bass & treble controls, as well as by several Eq presets. The Bass Boost performs the traditional "Loudness" compensation that produces enhanced bass response at low to modest overall volume levels.
CONCLUSION: This Panasonic is an excellent music source for a small office or a bedroom, where crisp sound quality at a modest listening level is desired.

Philips Norelco manufactures rechargeable electric shavers that are arguably the highest quality & produce the closest shave in the industry. Their latest offering is the Shaver 3600, a rechargeable wet & dry electric shaver with pop-up trimmer & storage pouch.
i use this hand held marvel as a travel shaver because it is much lighter than previous Philips Norelco shavers, weighing a meager 0.41 pounds. Unlike the heavier models, the Shaver 3600 also includes a storage pouch, perfect to throw in your backpack or travel bag. Further, no large / heavy charger is required, as before, because the Shaver 3600 includes a USB A cable that will plug into any iOS or Android power pack that you most likely already own.
A pop-up trimmer is activated with the flick of your thumb. It works great for trimming your mustache or beard when you are away; requiring no second razor to carry. A plastic guard securely fastens to the razor, protecting the blades from damage & retaining any loose trimmed hair particles away from your clothes as you travel.
The Shaver 3600 gave me the identical smooth shave to which I am accustomed from my favorite razor: the Philips Norelco Shaver S9000 Prestige, and at a fraction of the price. With it's delightful-to-hold curved body, lightweight design & storage pouch, the Shaver 3600 earns my highest recommendation.

Logitech is a beloved manufacturer renouned for producing premium quality keyboards, mice, gaming hardware & other top-of-the-line computer accessories & peripherals. Their latest product release is the MK955, a Signature Slim Full-size Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. Designed to perform with Mac or Windows, it features extremely quiet typing & clicking, plus it connects with 3 computers or tablets with the touch of a button.
The mouse & keyboard connect effortlessly using Bluetooth. An included modern Bolt receiver provides an additional connection option that replaces the older unifying receiver from yesterday. To connect, simply choose the profile, then press & hold the button until the LED flashes rapidly. You can quickly switch control of a desktop, laptop & tablet, for example.
The Mouse uses 1) AA Alkaline battery; the keyboard uses 2) AAA Alkaline batteries. I actually prefer this to rechargeable peripherals in this application, because the batteries perform a long time under heavy use. Continued computing draws a lot of power & requires frequent recharging on a rechargeable mice & keyboard; since this is my business computer, battery power is preferential.
CONCLUSION:
The mouse is shaped beautifully & fits most hands very well; the keyboard is whisper quiet & is sure not to bother your office neighbor. While the keys are not backlit, this combo offers just about everything you would want to control 3 devices & earns my highest recommendation.

High Resolution Security Camera w/ Unreliable App

Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Indoor Wired 2K Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Automated Privacy Shield is an indoor security camera that delivers video in 2560 X 1400 (2K), so details & clear faces are noticeable in both lighter & darker environments.
Closing the privacy shield prevents the camera from capturing video when you choose. Two-way audio allows you to speak through the camera into the room using your smart phone.
Unlike my existing 7) Arlo cameras, only after I set up the Arlo Essential 1 camera did I discover that this camera has a monthly monitoring charge after the 30-day free trial. I am already paying monthly to monitor a different brand of security cameras, so this is an unexpected recurring expense which I will decline. Reviewing the fine print on the back of the box: "Arlo Secure service, including cloud recording, requires paid subscription after trial period."
After 1-day of successful operation, this camera attempted to update firmware unsuccessfully & remained "dead" for a full day in a strong WiFi area until I unplugged it, which restored normal operation.
The app is the weakest link; it is not user friendly & times out from lack of frequent use, causing the camera to stop recording video until you sign in again. I returned to the camera, reviewed what should have been video & discovered that the app had stopped video capture.
CONCLUSION:
Essential 1 captures good video for indoor plug-in (no battery) applications; however I would not depend on this camera for your security requirements until the app is updated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Insignia™ - Braided Nylon Band for Apple Watch is a beautiful addition to my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I chose Stone color, because my Ultra 2 came with a black band. I was pleasantly surprised about how breathable this band is! It is super comfortable.
Simply stretch the band to fit over your wrist & fine tune the fit with the clasp on the back. Once you set the clasp, simply stretch it to place on or off of your wrist.
I love that the stretchy design hugs your wrist & is never too tight, or too loose. It fits just right, and can be easily adjusted in seconds with the clasp, if needed. The band is made of easy to clean nylon braids.
Stone is a beautiful neutral color. It blends with everything & has a very classy appearance. Another surprising benefit: the clasps that slide into the Apple Watch are Titanium color & are a perfect match to the Ultra 2!
This band fits the Apple Watch 42mm, 44mm, 45mm and Apple Watch Ultra & Ultra 2 49mm (All Series).
CONCLUSION:
The Insignia braided nylon band is my favorite & the most comfortable band for my Apple Watch Ultra 2. It earns my highest recommendation.

A Trimming Delight That Makes Mundane Tasks Fun!

The WORX - 4V ZipSnip Cordless Electric Scissors is a versatile tool that makes trimming & cutting a joy. I found that the hassle of cutting cardboard to fit in the recycling bin is now a simple task that I look forward to with ZipSnip. I use it to cut cardboard & those tough plastic packages that fill the retail shelves today. No more fighting those packages & getting cut with the sharp plastic edges as I stab the package with a box cutter or cut it with hand scissors.
Safety was clearly integrated into the design of ZipSnip & was not an after thought. The cutting blade cannot start rotating without pressing & holding the safety release with your thumb. This is a brilliant & most effective design that prevents unintentional activation by a person, or by being bumped in a drawer. An integrated blade guard that keeps fingers away from the rotating blade, enhancing safety even further.
The blade has a self sharpening design, making it always ready to go & reduces the battery power requirement of trying to cut with a dull blade. The 4 Volt built-in Lithium-ion battery charges completely in about 5 hours & will hold the charge for several months.
CONCLUSION:

The Epson - WorkForce ES-500W II Wireless Duplex Desktop Document Scanner is my favorite appliance in my Home Office. It has a very small footprint (6.6" Wide) & blends with any office decor.
I was shocked on my first scan by the speed & resolution of the image! The paper zoomed through the scanner, producing a beautiful image of BOTH SIDES of the paper!
There are many options: Scan to Print, to Desktop, to Dropbox, to Email, just to name a few. Scan JPEG, PDF, and many other options.
Load up to 50 pages at once & work as it scans both sides simultaneously at up to 35 copies / minute (black) or slightly slower for color. I set my DPI to 300. It came default at 200 DPI & will go as high as 1200 DPI.
I elected to connect this scanner wirelessly using WIFI, rather than USB. The Wireless Networking capability is amazing! Equally simple to connect on both my Windows 10 & my MacOS 10.14.6 without using USB. I can access it from another computer in the house over 50 feet away using WIFI.
It is QUIET! You can have a Zoom Meeting while this Scanner is working without conflict. Easy to identify LED's show connectivity on the front panel. Please see 6) photos I posted that show this scanner in use on my desk.
CONCLUSION: The Epson WorkForce ES-500W II is the BEST Office Scanner I have ever owned & I have owned virtually every brand in existence. It is my favorite appliance in my office & I recommend it without reservation!

Load up to 50 pages at once & work as it scans both sides simultaneously at up to 35 copies / minute (black) or slightly slower for color. I set my DPI to 300. It came default at 200 DPI & will go as high as 1200 DPI.
I elected to connect this scanner wirelessly using WIFI, rather than USB. The Wireless Networking capability is amazing! Equally simple to connect on both my Windows 10 & my MacOS 10.14.6 without using USB. I can access it from another computer in the house over 50 feet away using WIFI.
It is QUIET! You can have a Zoom Meeting while this Scanner is working without conflict. Easy to identify LED's show connectivity on the front panel. Please see 6) photos I posted that show this scanner in use on my desk.
CONCLUSION: The Epson WorkForce ES-500W II is the BEST Office Scanner I have ever owned & I have owned virtually every brand in existence. It is my favorite appliance in my office & I recommend it without reservation!

YES!! I use it with a Mac Pro running MacOS 10.14.6 and my wife uses Windows 10. This is the first scanner I have ever owned that honestly is equally as easy to connect on MacOS as it is on Windows 10. I LOVE IT!!
