I saw this movie and admittedly only bought it since it was $5 at the store. It's a pretty good film, but nothing groundbreaking or original. You see the big twist coming a mile away, but it's still a fun ride, albeit one you probably won't need to take more than once.

I bought this album after hearing the single "Gone", and was pleasantly surprised. Heavy yet melodic, with emotional, powerful vocals, it's a good time with no songs worth skipping.

First of all, let's get the obvious out of the way - yes, a lot of people are complaining about the campaign. And yes, you do play primarily as Spartan Locke. But, without spoiling things, it weaves a pretty potent tale and gets really good at the end. One thing I will say is that it does suffer a bit from Empire Strikes Back syndrome in that it's obviously the middle part of a larger story, but don't let that deter you. This is a great campaign. In my experience, the squad AI is *mostly* solid (caught them running around aimlessly once or twice), and the multiplayer is the best since Halo 2. I would definitely recommend it to established Halo fans for the multi, but newcomers should at least read up on the lore before tackling the story.
