At $9.74 ( now $12.99) it is a colorful lightweight, easily carried, Emergency backup. I stress Emergency because other reviewers complained it didn't hold a charge through many cycles or fully charge their device. If that is what you are looking for, pay the price and buy a device that will do the job. For less than $10 I have a spare Emergency device to charge my phone enough to make an emergency call, take a few extra special photos, etc. I can carry it with me easily and if it gets lost, I am not out that much. The higher priced, better quality, longer lasting, more charging capability device is kept in a safer, less easily accessible location. Use the inexpensive device as a quick "carry over" until you can fully charge.

I must confess I bought this on a whim even though at $11.24 it was over my self imposed limitation for, cute but not not absolutely necessary, items. It is lightweight, portable, very thin, has a very short USB charge cable, and it all fits in my large wallet. Now I'm very happy I bought it and hopefully this never happens again: My phone was dead, car charger in the house (accidentally brought in with groceries), and the portable charger I keep in my car tote bag was also dead (did I forget to charge it after I last used it, or was it so long ago that it lost its charge?). My Snoopy Portable Charger is cute, useful, and always with me. Because it fits in my wallet, I am reminded to check it often and make sure it is charged. Yes, even though the price is now $14.99, as long as it qualifies for free shipping, I will recommend it to a friend.

Since it said it included a carabiner-style clip to attach to a keychain, I expected a much smaller item. It is very cute, but too large to be practical as a keychain item. When I made my purchase about a month ago, it was $14.99 with free shipping eligible. It charges an LG G4 phone slow, but does charge. It is cute to keep in my car tote bag as an extra back-up, but the current price of $29.99 + $5.49 for shipping is too much. There are much smaller back-up chargers available at much better prices. I bought it because it was cute, $14.99, put me over the minimum I needed for free shipping on my order, and I used my $15 Best Buy Reward Certificate - so I got it for free. Now THAT is a good deal! At the current price, size, and slow charging, I can not recommend to a friend. Bring the price down to $5.49 with free shipping and it would make a cute add-on gift for any yellow duck lover.
