I have owned Magic Jack products since they came on the market, and compared to others that offer similar products, MagicJack seems superior to them.
This is about the 5tth one I have purchased, as I keep upgrading them as they get more technically advanced, as well as gifting them to others.

I have two of them hooked to my router, and one serves as a fax line. I have super high speed Internet, so I have seldom had a problem with them. If ever in the past I had an issue, it is refreshing to know that I can just pick up the phone and dial technical support and voila, the issue resolved.
I once took one out of the country, and hooked it to my laptop and phone at the hotel, and never missed a beat. Friends and relatives could reach me without issues, as well as me being able to reach family and friends without extra charges. It's like magic.....

I had a back-lit keyboard on my laptop and thought it was the best, so I went on the hunt for one for my desktop as well. I didn't care for the overhead light at night on my desk, but I couldn't see the keys on the keyboard without one.
Of all the keyboards I found with this feature, this is the best yet. Not only is the keyboard lit up, it is extremely soft and quiet to the touch., and much quieter than most keyboards that I found.
I love the on and off button, as well as the USB port that conserves the battery. This keyboard could last forever.

Coming from a Samsung, it has a slight learning curve, but overall the performance and expectation of the phone is ok. I wish the screen was slightly larger, and oftentimes people that I call complains of not being to hear me clearly. I don't know if that is a malfunction/defect of the phone, or if it is going to be that way for the life of the phone.

I live in a very rural area with lots of trees, so this didn't work for me. I did not put it outside or in the attic, and it did prove to be better than most that I tried, as it pulled in more channels than the others, but just not enough and they kept fading out.
I am sure it will work for others that are not completely in a rural setting as I am, or if it is put in an attic or even outside.

can one magicjack work on multiple phones?
I have mine hooked up to my router and home phone with cordless phones, so it allows me to enjoy whole house phone service.
You will need an additional Magic Jack if you want to use it with a different phone number. I have one Magic Jack each with my home phone and fax machine that have different numbers.
You can still use the line for more than just the fax.

for an epson xp-860 how does one remove a spent cartridge? they seem to be locked in place.
There is a blue button on the top front of the cartridge. Press that button and the cartridge releases for you to pull it out. After it reeases, catch it by the front and back and lift.
