Would have rated the set a "5" if it had featured just Chris, Brian and Stewie (IMO animation's answer to the 3 Stooges). Peter, Lois and Meg have grown tiresome, but I still enjoy the antics and verbal sparring between the other three.

I got the Minions lunch bag free when I purchased the film at Best Buy. I gave it to my 6-year old grandson and he loves it. His favorite item to carry in it is...you guessed it...a banana!

Ant-Man follows a familiar script, but does so in a rapid and enjoyable way. Just forget everything you ever learned in physics class and suspend your disbelief to enjoy the ride.
The complete fourth season of the intriguing artificial intelligence justice drama is included on six DVDs. Join John Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) as they team up with Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi) and Root (Amy Acker) as they evade the all-knowing Samaritan intelligence while solving crimes. Episodes include "Panopticon," "Nautilus," "Wingman," and more.

While watching this series, I feel a little like Dorothy confronting the Wizard of Oz..."Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!". So much of the plot devices used in the episodes are so improbable, even impossible, that a lesser team of writers and actors wouldn't be able to carry the whole thing off. But these folks (especially Mr. Reese and Root) are just SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH! So suspend your disbelief (as I do) and just enjoy the ride!
From Cornelius Vanderbilt to Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, and J.P. Rockefeller, a series of industrial titans emerged in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, who almost single-handedly laid the foundations for the America that we now know and love. This ambitious documentary from cable's History Channel profiles a number of the said men. Episodes include: Oil Strike, Blood is Spilled, A New Rival Emerges, Owning it All, Taking the White House, A New War Begins, The New Machine and A Rivalry is Born, plus a number of bonus segments unaired on American television.

An interesting irony runs throughout this compilation of stories about the "captains" of industry and finance in late 19th & early 20th century America. While inventing and producing incredibly beneficial technologies, products and services that transformed our country from an agrarian to a "modern" capitalist economy, the men featured in this series ruthlessly employed tactics worthy of a medieval ruler to strangle and eliminate their competition (and in some cases, each other). This provides fascinating viewing for anyone not familiar with the era of the "robber barons". These "docu-dramas" were originally broadcast on cable TV with commercial interruptions. Because of this, they frequently " flashback" to previously shown segments to bring the audience "back up to speed" after those breaks. This can prove quite annoying and is the reason for my giving the set only 4 stars. Still, It was great overall and quite a bargain at only $10,

This was a very good 2-disc compilation of documentaries about WWI. The first disc contained all four shows from a recent TV series about the terribly effective WMD weapons and technologies first inflicted on the world during that conflict. The second disc contained three older, but no less interesting, History Channel documentaries focused mainly on the WWI air war. Definitely worth the $10 spent on this set.

It was a real treat to rediscover this "greatest hits" CD on the BB sale rack. I'd forgotten just how talented Ms. Ronstadt was. A nice blend of upbeat and reflective music on this disc. I'm now on the lookout for Volume II.

I''ve used Memorex DVD's to save files and TV programs for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the copies...unlike other bargain brands I've occasionally tried. I've always come back to Memorex .

The Hobbit Trilogy (of which this film is the final part) is a perfect example of why I bought a 3-D system. I'm not a Tolkien "purist" and I don't care whether or not certain characters or plot lines belong in this story. I just wanted to be thrilled and entertained, and this title did that in spades! All of the actors fit their roles perfectly, and the 3-D effects definitely helped convey the wonder and magic of Jackson's version of Middle Earth. Bravo to all!

I haven't liked previous Wes Anderson films, but bought this one because it was nominated for Academy Awards and was on sale. Should have saved my $6. The good (occasionally witty dialogue) was far outweighed for me by the incessant and unnecessary use of the "F" bomb and other profanity. Definite not Best Picture material IMHO.
