RELIABLE REMOTE

This remote is more reliable and less prone to failure than many other more expensive remotes I've used. And, it works out of the box with DirecTV, no programming required. The only drawback is that it is not backlit. DirecTV does offer a backlit unit, and I have one, but I could find one at the Best Buy store when I shopped for this one. (I supposed I could have ordered it online, but was impatient.) Otherwise, it's great.

Great, but not a 'smart' or 3D TV

Bought this as a second TV at Best Buy before Christmas 2014 for only $400 +tax (less existing Best Buy rewards). 99.9% of what we watch is on DirecTV and there's no need to pay $300-$500 or more for a smart or a 3D TV. (IMHO 3D is a passing fad.) Instead of paying more a smart TV, we hooked up a Chromecast dongle for only $35 and with that, you can get YouTube, Hulu and/or the internet from any computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone. Works almost as well for practically nothing more. But, again, we rarely watch these on the TV. Someone else, however, may want to watch Hulu regularly on the set and I expect using a tablet or smart phone with Chromecast will be even easier because typing in data on a tablet or phone is FAR easier and quicker than using a TV remote.
The TV is 1080p and picture quality is very good - not the greatest, but very good. Unless it's side by side with our 80" Sharp Aquos smart TV, we don't see a difference. It does take a moment longer to switch resolutions between broadcasts (i.e. 720p to 1080i) than our Aquos, but that's not a problem.
Sound quality is good. With a digital audio output, the unit can be easily set up for surround sound. It even has a headphone jack for private listening for instance in a bedroom setup. 3 HDMI inputs and a powered USB allow for DVR, DVD and Chromecast dongle and minimal cabling. Alternatively, it has component cable (RGB) or composite inputs. And of course, it has a standard antenna cable connection, too.
Finally, it's light weight (~30-35 lbs) and easy for one person to setup or move around.
Overall, a very good TV at a very good price.

This MP3 player is easy to use and has a long battery life. Sound quality is very good and it will hold 1000's of songs. It's great for listening to music, stored books, podcasts or FM radio while out running at the beach or just when you want to shut out the world. Best of all, it's very inexpensive.

Great camera for serious amateur or professional

Very fast and accurate automatic focusing even in video mode. The first version of the 7D could only be manually focused in video mode, which often put audible noise into the video and was almost always inaccurate.
Great color rendition, silent zoom and focus with 18-135mm STM kit lens - particularly good again for videos. Pro-level sealing against dust and water. Cropped sensor (1.6 multiple of full-frame lens focal lengths) is especially good for sports and wildlife, but nothing is lost for great portraits or landscapes. A 50mm prime lens on this camera gives similar results as a much more expensive 85mm portrait lens on a full frame camera.
All 65 focus points are cross type and the center point is also diagonal type. This allows you to selectively focus on subjects near the frame's edges. Even the 5D Mark III has only 45 cross type of its 61 total focus points. The previous version 7D had on 19 focus points and the more expensive (full-frame) 6D has on 11 focus points.
The menu system is identical to 5D Mark III including 6 focusing cases (options) to ignore or include objects coming into your view that might otherwise interfere with your subject. Focus cases also allow tracking of subjects that make quick and unpredictable movements.
Although the 7D Mark II does not have a touch screen for quicker focusing in Live View, it does have silent focusing in video mode using the touch pad surrounding the Quick Control Dial.
This camera has 252 metering zones versus the original 7D's 63. It also has a 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor vs. a 100,000-pixel sensor on the Canon 1DX that costs almost 4 times more!
1080p videos can be made at 60 fps so that slow motion playback at 30 fps is smooth. Not even the 5D Mark III can do that!
This camera is solid and make no mistake, it's a great camera that will give you years of terrific photos and videos.

would like to know how many speaker as I noticed it states as only being 2 watts this very important to me because I am hearing impaired
The TV has 2 speakers with 10 watts per channel, which is, or can be, very loud. By reference, most audio/stereo receivers that produce much more power are most frequently played at less than 10 watts per channel - probably at 2 or 3 watts for 'normal' listening and rarely above 5 watts per channel. The highest level you might use at a party is probably no higher than 10 watts. Higher audio rates, such as 100 watts per channel, produce less distortion at lower levels, but they're seldom used and only an real audiophile can really tell the difference.

Higher wattage is much like higher horsepower in a car. With it, you can get to an acceptable level sooner, but it usually runs at a much lower rate.
