I've bought this lens to shoot some videos inside my office, so ultra-wide feature was what I was looking for. Most important to say is that STM focus is REALLY quite and very fast too. I'm using it on a 70D. I would say that only cons on this lens is that it's dark lens since it's aperture starts on 4.5 when using 10mm.

This Prop Guard is very resistant but if you want to carry your Phantom on orignal DJI backpack, you will need to remove and reinstall it everytime. I recommend users to buy Digi-power model that have a clip-on system and it's easy to remove.

Almost perfect case

This original case is almost perfect. Only con I should say is that phone support of Phantom 3 Standard doesn't fit perfectly on remote control compartment. I had to remove some of the foam. Besides that, it's very resistant and fits the drone, 3 batteries and charger.

We have Canon Rebel XS with 75-300 lens. What can we get next to get closer shots of birds and wildlife?
I believe this is the maximum you will find on entry level lenses. After that, you can find L Series lenses as 400mm or 600mm but they cost much more.

what canon lenses is best for making videos with
It depends of what type of videos you want to make and how much you want to invest in a lens. I'll choose any EF-S STM Lenses if you have a cropped camera, because they are really quite and you can work using Auto Focus without worry about camera noises on video.

I hit the wrong button on my Nikon D3100 camera. All the prize Italy photos are gone.
You can try use those recovery programs like Recuva. They usually are able to recover lost data if you didn`t save any other data on card.
