The frig is okay, it does what it's supposed to do. It keeps the food cold in the frig and it makes ice and keeps things frozen in the freezer. My only knock is that when the compressor is running it is a bit loud. It's not a problem for me because this is my beer cooler in the basement. If you are going to have this in your kitchen it may be somewhat annoying
