He was born in New York 11/07/1942 then moved to Louisiana. I listened to his music on little transistor radio, I wasn't a teenager yet but it didn't matter he wrote and sang alot of great soft rock and roll music. He was awesome.

A Great pianist for Country Music

I listened to Floyd Cramer when I was a little girl and that's been a long time ago! His song I remember him for is"Last Date". My dad's people were from NC every summer we went up there and my cousin's would play his songs on their piano I can still hear those songs in my mind. I listened to Floyd Cramer with my Mom and Dad when I was a very young girl playing at the Grand Ole Opera it came on in black and white TV on Saturday nights,even to this day when I listen to it it takes me back to times I wish we could all go back to. This movie played out before us in real life on all National TV& Cable stations.When I watched the movie it was like reliving it again, I caught myself crying and praying for the actors. They did an awesome job in the directing and producing to be able to bring it back to life like it played out in real life on April 20 2010. It's a must see film of the year!
