I love this item especially because it's rocketfish and the fact that it has a remote control. I mainly bought because I needed an hdmi selector for my electronics i.e. satellite, video game system, and home theater system, and it functions as it's supposed to. I LOVE IT!!

Just bought Samsung 1080p Smart TV, 32".. How does the Samsung soundbar 2.1, SKU 4925100, ( model HW-K360/ZA)... hook up? Do you need to purchase a cable of some sort? And where do you attach the cable at both ends?

You needs digital optical cable I have 2 Sansung Home theatres myself and both are hooked up the same way just takes a few seconds.

How do I get my dvd's to fill my tv screen

when I play my blu-Ray or regular dvd neither fills my tv screen. How do I make these dvd completely fill my tv screen

it is the format of your screen you should have a button on your remote or your television is outdated.

No sound

So I have my direct tv, xbox 360, blue ray hooked up I am getting video, but no sound. I have unplugged everything re-plugged it all, turned it off turned it back on. My tv is mounted above my fireplace so I am using a wall plate does that matter?

No it shouldn't as long as you've hooke d the hdmi cable to the output on the selector and the other end to an hdmi port on your t.v.
