My internet service is 100 mbps (down) but pages load VERY slowly. Is Netgear Wireless N 300 router slowing it down? If so, what model can handle it
Probably not as it supports download speeds up to 300 Mbs.

What if I have a low download speed ?
I've always been confused with different routers lile this one and how they work but im starting to fully understand it now. However my question is what if my internet service provider has my download speed to 1mb/s, will this router make my internet speed go faster to 300mb/s like it says ? Or will it bring it up to something close to that range?
Nope. It can handle up to that speed (or somewhere close to it) but you only get the speed you are paying for.

Does this router work with Verizon's FiOS Quantum 50/50 Mbps?
It should. Just run an Ethernet cable from the supplied MODEM to the Internet port on the router.

Will this work if I plug it into the phone line?
Nope. If you have DSL Internet service, a phone line plugs into the MODEM which the service provider supplies. Then you run an Ethernet cable from the MODEM to the router to give you multiple wired and wireless connections.

Why the diffront price of routers?? What makes some better than others? I have a fitbit and can't get it to sync It keeps telling me it cant find the bluetooth what can I do to get a better router and why are some better than others??
Basically, the pricier the router, the stronger the signal which equates to a larger coverage area with better connection speeds.

How does this work, will i have to buy monthly service for this device or just plug in and i have internet service
You have to have a MODEM supplied by your service provider (ATT, Time Warner, COMCAST, etc.). An Ethernet cable then runs from the MODEM to the router making it available for multiple wired and wireless connections.
