This film will not be for everyone, as it is a story told through visuals, without dialogue. This does not mean that it is non-narrative. There is a definite point of view and linear progression to the film. The cinematography is absolutely stunning, and the juxtaposition of images are quite startling and innovative at times.
My only quibble, and a minor one at that, is the lack of disc extras, outside of an informative making-of documentary.
The Blade Runner digibook is a very comprehensive set featuring multiple versions of the movie, including the original theatrical (voiceover narrated) version and Ridley Scott's 'final' director's cut. The picture and sound are great. The extras, including a documentary and informative director's commentary, are great. The book itself is just ok, some new information but not as interesting as other digibooks I've bought. All in all tremendous amount of content at a great value. Highly recommended

What's great about it: multiple versions of movie, lots of great extras
