microwave works great. Convection works even better. This thing is a handy one to have. I never thought I would use "2 ovens" but it seriously has been a life saver. I've even baked even more because it's so easy and convenient. The downfalls are - the lights are not Backlit. so if it is dark or there is a glare. you will have a hard time seeing the buttons. The buttons are a lighter grey and the area the buttons are on are dark grey. blend to much. I'm going to look into seeing if I have have some white label buttons made that will look good. Not a deal breaker for the most part where mine is located I haven't had too hard of a time finding the buttons I need.
2nd downfall people have complained about is the dial. There are no buttons to enter in exact times. so i fyou want 4 minutes and 5 seconds, you can't. You have to turn the dial until you get to 4 and then can do 4 min or 4 min 10 sec. increments in 10's only. This doesn't bother me. I don't usually heat anything for 35 secs or so on. Plus it heats everything so well, I think you can put something in for 5 less seconds and you won't notice the difference. Turning the dial doesn't bother me much. at first it was a change; but it really only takes a couple seconds, and time is set.
