For occasional use, this unit is very good for situations where you don't want to walk around with your video camera stuck in front of your face. It helps reduce some of the shakiness. I finally made the switch to an SSD instead of my usual selection of HDDs whenever I rebuilt or upgraded my PC. In spite of the warranties given on the HDD's, that did not cut it when things got messed up and you had to start over from scratch. I had used an SSD for a back-up drive for a few years and loved its response and ease of use. This new SSD is my main "C" drive now and from now on, I will be buying them whenever the older back-up HDD's start acting up.
