case is good, but screen-protector sheet not great

OtterBox has a deserved reputation for protecting phones. This case is no exception. However, the screen-protector sheet picked up specks of dust (?) from the air, and attempts to remove them left the sheet scarred. In addition, the sheet did not seem to adhere well or clearly. So I gave up and tossed the sheet. The case has already protected my phone from a fall onto a hard tiled surface. I'll have to get a different screen-protector sheet, but don't let that prevent you from getting the best case on the market.

I don't cook, but I love gas, and I do occasionally need two ovens. Most of the cooking I do (being something from the freezer) isn't big, so heating a huge standard-sized oven always struck me as more than a bit wasteful.
This oven is great! I love cooking with gas, and the "mini" top oven is perfect for pizzas (for which the oven has a pre-programmed setting), garlic toast, and most of the other stuff we like. We're looking forward to trying out the griddle in the middle of the cooktop.
The controls are fancy enough that I did need to read the manual to figure out how to turn the oven on. But, once one learns the controls, the system works pretty well. And don't be fooled by the "chime" they talk about in the manual, which signals when things (like pre-heating or your bake-time) are done. The oven doesn't "chime"; it plays a little tune. It's adorable!

Great ice chest for extra storage capacity

My son and I like freezer pops, ice cream, and freezer-to-microwave and freezer-to-oven foods. A fridge is nice, but a freezer is a necessity! This ice chest was light enough that, after the delivery guy dropped it off at the back door, I was able to get it up the stairs outside, through the back door, and down the stairs inside to the basement with relative ease. The unit was packed very well; set-up involved little more than plugging it in.
The unit is holding loads of frozen stuff at frigid temps, and runs almost silently. The wire rack along the one side is perfect for our frozen pizzas. We're very happy!

Delightful surprise from Africa

Previously thought lost, tapes for these episodes were found in 2013 in Nigeria. Now, those of us too young to have seen these episodes when they first aired can add to our collections with something that is a surprising part of history.
The episodes themselves are, of course, typical of BBC television visual "quality" of the day (that is to say, not great) but, considering that the DVD is based on a remastering from decades-old, forgotten magnetic tapes, the picture quality is astounding. You'd never know that this was anything other than a standard copied-from-the-London-archives video.
The acting and props are at about the standard you'd expect. The pleasure in this particular DVD is that you're viewing something that all had thought lost since at least the 1970's.
