The hardware is great but what makes the iPad even more desirable are the large number of applications available. The larger size screen on the Pro version is simply beautiful. Naturally it's heavier than the standard sized iPad, but the view is worth it. One thing that could stand improving is the charger. It literally takes several hours to fully recharge the battery. Apple should address this problem.

I have had other Amazon Fire tablets, but find I am enjoying this one the most. First of all, the large screen is a real plus. In addition, I like the new, improved operating system for its ease of use. Also I have found the Amazon Underground experience with lots of free apps to be better than I expected. Finally, it's also very light weight and thin which makes it easy to take with you. Overall , it's a great tablet.

A good solution to a mobile problem

Light weight tablets are great for mobile users, but nothing beats a "real" keyboard. This Microsoft wireless foldable keyboard is a good solution. It's flat, light and folds up but still has good tactile feedback. The only drawback is the vertical fold in its center which takes a little getting used to. However, it's a small price to pay for not having to bang your fingers on a glass screen.

Double entries with single press of key

When reading reviews by previous buyers of this keyboard before I purchased it, I discovered many people liked it while others complained of getting two or three letters with a single key entry. Unfortunately, my experience mirrored that of the latter group. When I hit the letter "X" for example, I would often get "XX". I contacted Razer support and they tried to help with driver upgrades without success. They finally told be it was defective and to return it to the store. Which I did.

Some graphics tablets require connection to a computer. Others do not. A good place to learn more is Wacom.com.
