Tough on bad guys. Easy on you.The Nest Secure alarm system is easy to live with every day. Just tap Nest Tag on Nest Guard to arm and disarm the alarm - no passcode needed. Nest Detect sensors look out for doors, windows and rooms. And with the Nest app, you can keep an eye on what matters.

Pricey but Great System

The system is ridiculously easy to setup and integrates well with the nest system. Really easy to manage and use day to day the sensors seem to work well. A big con is that the remote monitoring service is very expensive for a system they I paid and installed my self. You can change the times and settings in the app for what ever caters to you. I do have a full grown German Shepard so when she stays inside I can't use away mode and just put it on home and guarding. Which works for me. Great system over all.

Great Drive for PS4 Extended Storage
on February 9, 2017

I have a PS4 Pro and upgraded the internal storage to a small SSD and then using this one to offload games that I do not play as often. It really keeps my load times down and have a ton of storage for my PlayStation. The drive is super quite and can't hear it run even while under a load. I have purchased many WD products and will continue to.

If you leave a window open, are you able to bypass to set an alarm? Also to confirm, if you set the alarm to say you are at home but want the alarm to go off if the window or door is open, will this go off instantly or will it be the min 30 seconds?

If you have the sensor on the window you can push the button to disable it. You have to open it and leave it open with in ten seconds. That sensor will stay disarmed till it it closed again. Once you close it, it works as normal I use this on the back door on days the weather is nice or to let the dog in and out when the alarm is armed while at home. There is a delay though with it is armed at home and someone opens up something I did see on the nest site that this should be addressed in a future firmware update.
