The riser does its job. I have a 24" LCD monitor on it and there is no bending or uneven support. The only thing I had a problem with was the rubber feet. They come out easily unless you remove the monitor first.

I have had shredders burn out on me before with normal use. This thing has shredded anything I throw at it (of course within limitations). I do not shred more than 6 pages at a time. I got new credit cards (the ones with the chip in them) and this thing ate up my old credit cards without any problem.

I normally use Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard. The salesperson introduced me to this one and said I should try it. It took a little getting used to, but it is great! I can type on it without any pain in my arms/hands, and the mouse has convenient back/forward buttons on the side which make web browsing easy.

Are they noise cancelling?
They definitely cut out noise. They come with different size ear pads. When I have them on, I usually can't hear anything else.

Will it work with service pack 3?
Returning a sony because they didn't list 1gb of ram requirement on internet, it was on back of item package. I have windows xp home edition, service pack 3, with 512 mb of ram. Requirements list service pack 2, will service pack 3 work?
It should. When you see requirements, they are the MINIMUM requirements. If the requirement is SP2, then having SP3 will work as well.

Does it have an Actual USB port on the keyboard?
The specs say it has a USB port? I can plug in a USB device into the keyboard and download files to my pc?
This does not have a USB port to connect peripherals to.

This keyboard does not have a scroll button. The mouse does have the scroller wheel as well as 2 buttons at the thumb rest that allow you to go back and forward in web browsers.
